Update on my dad

As I posted a few weeks ago, my dad was just diagnosed with lung cancer (that's what 64 years of smoking can do to you). He is having a biopsy tomorrow morning, and surgery next Wednesday to remove part of the lung.

Your continued prayers and pixie dust will be greatly appreciated.

Hopefully his prognosis will be a good one, Karen, after the biopsy. My prayers and best wishes follow him. Has he stopped smoking?

I have been where you are. My Dad, 77 was diagnosed 4 years ago, it has been a long road. I can honestly say I have been in your shoes.

Feel free to PM or email me for support or any questions., even to just vent when you have feelings that make you feel guilty. I know I was at times mad, frustrated and wanted to kill my Dad for putting us through this. He was also a smoker for 65 years.

Good luck to you Dad. I know it is hard, daughters & Dads have a special bond.

He's still smoking. Hasn't even cut down.
