O.K It has been 9 days and I am going out of my mind!!!!!!!! I have been back to the eyedoctor 4 times as my vision is basically a "moving target". I try like a zillion pairs of lenses to try and get something close to 20/20...they work anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours...and then kaput....lousy vision again. Apparently it is my astigmatisms that are the culprits. My gas perms haddistorted the astigmatism...lessening it, so first it had to go back to regular, and now the actual level is increasing. I need special order toric lenses and they take a week to come in, which is pointless as my eyes will have changed so much by the time the lenses arrive they still won't work!
I have to just be patient until my eyes level off and quit changing so much. Easier said than done! My work is suffering, forget what the house looks like(probably not much differentactually
)but this inability to drive is crazy! I have had my glasses changes once already....this is really a major undertaking that I was NOT prepared for! Help me get thru the next few weeks! The doctor feels that it should not take any longer than that...if I can last that long.I have narrowed down to 2 types of lenses for comfort tho, the Acuvue and the Soflens 66...I have been having trouble w/the Soflens resting properly on my eye tho..but can't be sure 'till my eyes are back to normal...whatever THAT is!
