Its been a while so I thought I would post an update.
He's doing real well. We decided on the cage rest instead of the surgery. After a couple of days he was sitting and walking a little more within his cage. After 2 weeks the vet said we could let him out of the cage. So, he is no longer confined to that and has free range of the house. He still walks a little slow, although I have seen him bolt up the stairs a few times. He has a bit of a limp but it doesn't seem to bother him.
He has pretty much given up trying to go outside (he's not allowed to anyways) but I think he may be a little gunshy about it now.
Thats ok though......
So, that's the scoop! He's doing great! Thanks to everyone who sent him (and me
) well wishes!
