Update on 'Grrrr Travel City Direct' posting earlier

Hi,

just wanted to update you all after my earlier vent at Travel City Direct. Basically the posting came after I had a frustrating call with one of their customer advisors who gave me no answers to my questions and basically made me feel like I was talking to a brick wall.

Anyway, one of their managers saw my posting and e-mailed me and through a series of e-mails, have not only resolved my queries but also gone one step further to make me a very happy customer indeed!!!!
(I wont go into details as I dont want to get poor guy swamped with e-mails!)

I'm glad to hear your problems have been addressed to your satisfaction, Lisa :)

However, I think it's a shame that it took a manager to spot the thread and then do something about it to resolve your complaint. Let's hope that TCD can improve their public face of customer care so that it only takes a phone call or email to the right department to address any concerns.

Every company makes mistakes and has dissatisfied customers - it's the way they deal with the problems that gain them the respect (or otherwise!) of the paying public.

So do I, with the bad treatment your Mum and Dad received they should do everything they can to asssit especially with the medical needs.
