Update on DS deployment..

Well, DS, Mike, soldier at Fort Hood had his orders changed when command finally reali*ed that he had not yet been back for a full year. Therefore he will NOT be deployed to the Middle East at this time. However, he, like many others, remains on standby.

He will be working double shifts at his office since half of the soldiers have been deployed. He is hoping that when things get into a routine he will be able to have his son with him. Tra's mom is still enroute.

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and prayers.

I beg of you to continue to write and call your government officials to voice your concerns and support. It is VERY IMPORTANT that your representatives know how their constituants feel. Also your prayers and support of military members and their families has been fabulous. It is appreciated greatly.
May we all be blessed with a peaceful solution to this problem.

That is good news. It's good that Tra will get to have his dad with him longer while his mom is deployed.

That's good news. My nephew, Michael, 21, is in the National Guard in Illinois and was called up New Year's weekend. He's in training now, and will be told their assignment in about a month. He's excited and scared.

Please continue to pray for our military, whether you support this effort or not.
