I sent an email to Disney asking what proof they needed for changing corrals. Here is the response:
Race numbers have been assigned for the marathon and half marathon. We cannot issue new race numbers for higher corral placement. However, you can still move into a faster corral. You will need to bring proof of your estimated finish time to the Runner Relation's booths after you pick up your race number and Champion Chip at the Marathon Expo on Thursday, January 10 or Friday, January 11 or Saturday, January 12, 2008 (marathon only). There, the race staff will place a sticker on your race number to allow you into a faster corral. You must have that proof with you to get this change made. Proof of time can be a copy of a race certificate or a printout of the race results from any race of 13k or longer, so TOT is fine. This proof needs to be from a race run over the last couple of years.

So it looks as long as you have a 13K race as proof you can move up corrals - based on time of course.
