Castaway Club Gold member 7+ night cruises $275 OBC.

My understanding is even though this OBC was linked with your past OBB, if you change the date or modify the ressie, the OBC reverts to existing rules, which is $200 no matter CC level. I hope I'm wrong. Just trying to educate myself and everyone reading said post. I'm still in the classroom regarding ressies.

So I would call / check to verify you truly were able to transfer your Gold OBC to a new date.

I'm just making sure we all understand the current rules.

^ That's right. If you change the date for an grandfathered OBB with the increased OBC made prior to March 2012 when the change took place, it will change to a $200 OBC for a 7+ night cruise.

As you have found, every time you call DCL you can be told different information. You said the second person was the most helpful, but they gave you incorrect information about the OBC. It still works out for you, just $75 less OBC than you thought.
