Update of tolls to/from Buffalo Airport?

Has anyone crossed very recently? Is the toll booth in force crossing from the Canadian side yet?

The last time I went, on returning to Canada, it was US$2.50 on the American side and .50 along the I-190.

The last time I went, on returning to Canada, it was US$2.50 on the American side and .50 along the I-190.

We came back yesterday at the Lewiston/Queenton bridge and we paid $0.75 along the I-190 and $3.50 CAD (or $2.50 USD) by the border into the Canadian side. I recalled paying only $50 going to BUF.

The toll that you pay coming from the US is a combined toll. You will only have to pay the one way. The assumption is when you go there you will have to come back sometime and that is when you pay. The toll prices mentioned are correct but if you frequent the US often you can buy a roll of 20 tokens which saves some money. If interested just ask the toll operator and they will give you the price in CAN and US$.

We went over on Sunday the 15th and the toll was raised to 75cents that day.

the only thing that has changed is that the toll booths are now located on the canadian side ( for the peace bridge ) coming into canada not going out

the thruway tolls have increased from 50 to 75 ) inbound towards buffalo from the airport on the thruway last week
