Update/ Get Ride Of Rides

HONEY I SHRUNK THE AUDIENCE IS FROM 1986, PUT IN NEW 3D ATTRACTION FOR FINDING NEMO OR THE INCREDIBLES OR SOMETHING.

STAR TOURS, ADD SCENES FROM THE NEWEST MOVIE

Actually HISTA opened in 1994. Captain EO with Michael Jackson was there in 1986. I still think it's cute.
I agree that Star Tours should be updated with new footage though. But it's still one of my favorites!

Would take more space. But, they need to update Star Tours. Similar rides "Back to the Future" & "Star Trek:Experience use Imax screens to show the video presentation and it looks much cooler. Also, the Trek ride simulator also has windows in front and the top so you can see the screen from all angles allowing a more realistic feel.

Yeah, I can also see them updating Honey I shrunk the Audience.

First off, no need to scream. Secondly, Nemo is getting enough attractions as it is.

I don't think that the new Star Wars films should be reproduced in ANY way in that attraction unless it was Revenge of the Sith. The ride needs updating and new scenes, but definitely does NOT need the prequels.

Agreed, there's nothing in the prequels that would make for a good update to Star Tours. I think they should keep the ride as is and just replace the film with some new digital footage, or maybe update the looks of the crystals, that's about it.

I'm wondering if they were thinking of changing the ride to be podracers at some point . . . it's the only reason I can think of that they changed the store to Tatooine. Especially since you're flying to ENDOR, which is why you disembarked at Endor Vendors originally.

Which was also never correct, since Endor is the planet and not the name of the moon, which was obviously the destination since Endor is a gas giant.

The original Star Wars trilogy are probably among the greatest movies ever made. That being said, Episodes I, II, and III are probably among the worst. If Disney were to add footage from those films, they might as well remove the attraction all together and turn it into another version of Stitch's Great Escape.

DON'T GIVE THEM ANY IDEAS!!!!! Next thing you know they'll be replacing rex with Stitch.

I agree Star Tours needs an update...i would like to see something totally new instead of just a new film...technology has come along way since the rides debut. Star Wars was all about pushing the boundary of film making.

I need to preface this post by saying that I like COP. I like that is nostalgic and that it was Walt's idea, and I like the song "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow..."

That said, (please don't flame me for this!!) I wish they would update it somehow to make it less sexist. It really starts to bother me that in EVERY scene Mr. Man is reading the newspaper or generally taking it easy, while Mrs. Housewife is busy busy busy. If I remember correctly the last scene is a little more even.

I only noticed this the last time I was at WDW, but it kinda bothered me.
