UPDATE: employee that was injured at AK dies

It has been confirmed that the employee who was injured at Animal Kingdom over the weekend has died.

Thanks for posting this. I had not seen it before. It's very sad.

My daughter and I were in line for Primeval Whirl when the accident happened. We were unaware at first there was a problem. They kept us in line while they unloaded all the passengers. Then they gave us fast passes for later. As we walked away I saw them bringing a stretcher. While I was not sure what was happening, the expressions of the other employees made me think it was serious. As far as I know they never reopened the ride that day.

I am only reading today that the employee died. How very sad for her family at the holidays. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
