(UPDATE) Burying a Statue of St. Joseph to help sell your home...

You must be catholic for this to work. Please scan copy of baptismal certificate so that we can run it by St. Joe before proceeding.

Worked for my Mom and the house we grew up in. It had been on the market for almost a year. Got the statue and within 4 months the papers passed. It went in during the winter as well. Lucky the statue was small. It stinks digging in frozen ground.

I bought it, buried it and prayed in church. I am Catholic, she is Protestant and said she didn't believe in the nonsense. She passed the statue on to a friend for use.

UPDATE - 8 days after burying the Statue of St. Joseph - We got an offer on our house! Now mind you the realtor just called and said an offer was coming in so I haven't seen it yet - but it's on its way :goodvibes

Our real estate agent brought the statue for us when we listed my Father's house. Our price was right and we had an offer the first day it went on multiple listing. Dad died 1/18, we listed on 3/18 and we closed on 5/18.

That's GREAT news! :goodvibes

Thank you St Joseph!

I know tons of people that have done this, but be careful who you talk about it in front of. Our Priest has been known to get upset with people who do it. I think he feels that it is disrespectful to St. Joseph, and that it validates the misconceptions that some people have about Catholics.

And as someone else said, it really has more to do with asking for St. Joseph's intercession on your behalf than burying the statue.

St. Joseph didn't work for us, but the alien from Rosewell I buried turned the house in 48 hours.;)

He's got to be buried upside down facing the house and you have to say the prayer of St. Joseph every day. It worked for us. At your new home he must be above ground facing the street so that he is welcoming people into your new home. When we sold our house we forgot to take St. Joseph with us so one night my wife made a little trip and recovered him.
