I'm searching for Luxembourg sausage. Yes strange but, necessary. The local manufacturer, Busch sausage, is moving/moved to OshKosh, WI and, they don't sell online (yet anyway). :( I've been using Google and, every word or phrase or combination thereof I can think of, to no avail. :(

It would mean SOOO much to my Mom & her twin sister (and my WHOLE family) if I could SOMEHOW find this particular sausage and, future place of ordering from!!

For ANYONE who actually knows of this sausage, I need to order it freshly made, not in the dried up snack stage.

I HOPE someone here can help. Thanks!

****Thank You ALL for helping enormously with this quest!! Just wanted to inform those interested that, my cousin actually FOUND a website! Go Figure! Both of us double-teamed the owner/Pres. and, MONDAY I went and picked up 21.8lbs of Luxembourg sausage, made by Busch! Soooo incredibly fresh, like we've never, ever seen before! I cooked 3 links Mon night and, NONE of Us could believe how fresh, soft, melt in your mouth tender, it was!! My Mom & Aunt will be SOOO surprised that WE (that means DISers & us) found this again!!

Our next mission will be at Christmas but, the owner/Pres of local Busch is now in touch with me/us personally! What a nice man he is! He came out to meet me personally while someone else 'rang up' the purchase. I was SOOO happy and, I can't wait until 8/31, when cousin & I give our Mom's 'the treat'!!

In case anyone is curious, it's currently $2.94/lb, a link is never quite a lb. and, my WHOLE order was about $65-66! This is split amongst 7 couples/families! You can't imagine How Happy my cousin & I are right now!! We are soo elated to share some Internet/email joy (and sausage) with our family, something that, We thought our families (and US) would never see again!

The DIS and the people here are, Unforgettable!!!

Thank You, Again!!

Good luck with this, I'd try to call the company they might be able to tell you where you can find it.

I know we've got some WI Disers out there. Can anyone help our dear KimRaye out???!?!?!?

Good luck to you!!!

I'm checking some sources out Kim!!!! I'll get back to you either way!

I checked a couple of places out from Food TV's Food Finds but unfortunately came up empty handed. :(

Good luck finding it!

(I did come up with a place that sells all buffalo meat products if you're interested in that) :p

Do you know what the sausage is called in Luxembourg? For example Polish sausage is kielbasa. Maybe that will help with the search for it.

NO, THIS ISN'T QUITE THE SAUSAGE. AT LEAST I HOPE I HAVEN'T BEEN EATING THIS ALL THESE YEARS!!!

Thanks a bunch everyone, these are all great places to start looking again. Goofyposter, Chris called me earlier (Thanks again, Chris!) and told me to check this thread so, it's the 1st place I came to tonight!! Thanks for all your efforts on this!!!

doxdogy, that's a good point. I'll have to look into that. All I know is that Busch sausage sold it as Luxembourg sausage.

What great news! Glad you were able to get the sausage (our local butcher never called me back after saying he could get anything if it was made). Your mom will be so happy.
