Day #1 Visit to RR to ask about new incentive for RR Direct because I want fixed guarantee week #52. My original guide from 2001 has retired I guess it was my lucky day because Amil was available... He is great except Week 52 is Sold Out.
But friendly conversation with guide impressed me. He has been with
DVC many years and knew my original guide . And then I mentioned one of my small purchases had been with Nick Cotton in 2018 so I would probably be selling my BRV Direct to purchase .
Amil just chuckled and said Oh I know Nick and then teased me that it is alright to buy resale !!! He then commented how Nick has an entire team of former DVC Direct Guides at
DVC Resale Market and still considers Nick to be a good friend. He said Nick Cotton has accomplished so much and he had graduated with Top Honors and was ValedictorIan of his graduating class. I laughed and said he was currently getting some pushback with announcing new Concierge and a BackPack! He was aware of the Concierge Service and thought it would be a good idea.
Anyway I liked that Amil joked that he knew all about me within the first introduction because he knew my level of ownership. I kinda stumped him with the question that “Would a week 52 standard studio become available if DVC released more points into the system?” And within 2 or 3 days I did receive a callback that a week 52 standard studio was available.
Decison to call DVC Resale Market but decided Mr.Nick Cotton probably did not need the commission so I would just work with the guide that answered the phone. Again I got lucky with Raphael as the representative I am working with to sell my original direct 200 points resale at BRV. Currently I have had to let Amil and now Raphael aware that I am old school and don’t like online and really Don’t even know what cut& paste means! And I don’t like to answer my cellphone so it will probably be difficult to actually get a hold of me...

Anyway everybody has become family as they patiently help me step by step and nobody at DVC or at DVCRM has ever been pushy. So now I know how to cut& paste and Online Signature!
Maybe that new Apple Watch I received for Mother’s Day present will eventually get taken out of the box... and maybe it is time for me to learn how to do a Mobile Order!!!
Anyway ball is rolling and holiday weekend and yesterday afternoon I think I completed everything online to get the process started. Figured I would be waiting a few days but this morn I have already received this email:
