UPDATE: Another Thought/Prayer Request...

Seeing that the power of good thoughts, prayers, and pixie dust really does work wonders, I would like to put in another request...

Tomorrow evening, I will be going in for some "dental work," as Kathy Griffin would call it.

It is not a major operation, but requires 10 incisions and general anestesia.

I'm very much ready for this. I've been planning on it for over a year. It's something I've wanted done for a very long time, and now that that time has come, I could not be more excited.

I'll keep you all updated on what happens, but in the mean time, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers for the next few days.

Thank you so much for your abundance of love and support. I couldn't imagine life without the DIS.

UPDATE:

My surgery went well.

I don't remember anything but being in a room full of lights and some type of mask coming towards my face.

Even with about an inch of bandages in the way, I can tell that the results are fantastic.

Despite the fact that there were no replies to this thread, I thank you all for keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks everyone. I'm in a lot of pain right now, but it's manageable with the "wonder pills" they gave me.

I'm going to the surgeon's office tomorrow, where he will take off the bandages and I will see the results for the first time.

I hate dental work. Comes from a generation before sealing prevented cavities. I am happy your experience turned out to be a positive one.
