UPDATE - ALL restaurants from 2008 back on for the 2009 DDP!

I spoke with a CM re: CSR and the maya is on it and tutto italia..i also pulled up wdw participating restaurants and more have been added

when I click on that link, it just takes me to Disney site home page...wonder if they've pulled the pdf to update it? That would be nice!

I don't think that is an updated list NONE of the restaurants are on there.

It's not an updated list. The date at the bottom is 7/31/08.

Has anyone heard if T-Rex in DTD is planning on being on the plan? I do not see it on the list in post 1, but I do not see it on the list of restaurants either . This would mean the difference for us on what plan to use.

T-Rex will accept only the premium and platinum package plans. It will not accept the basic or deluxe dining plans. T-Rex has confirmed this by direct contact through several DIS posters with the restaurant itself. Rainforest Cafe is owned by the same company and follows the same policy.

I don't consider the Disney dining line to be an accurate source of this sort of information. When it comes to restaurants that participated in 2008, I personally am not going to call anything confirmed for 2009 - regarding whether these restaurants will or won't be on the dining plan - until WDW releases a new dining plan brochure.

There are rumors that some of them are planning to drop out, but those remain rumors.

Yeah, just came back to check on "any news" and found that the "quote" I quoted earlier was displayed funny? Don't know what happened, but I guess the bottom line is that we are still all waiting to hear the status of the restaurants .

I would think that technically they could have until the old plan expires which is after the holiday crowds? Jan. something? someone help me out here.

Although I don't know, it depends on how the contracts are written, but it would seem to make sense that the old contract wouldn't expire until that date in Jan.

i just got off the phone with the reservation hotline and was told that the list has been finalized and should be published in the next few days.... which always means business days.

As always, I take things like this with a shaker of salt. For me, until I read it on disneyworld.com, it is all rumors and speculation.

But here is wishing.
