Is Tuto Italia on the 2009 dining plan yet? Thanks.

Still no official confirmation on any of the non-Disney restaurants, except what some posters have been told by WDW-DINE. But other posters have been told the opposite, so we don't really know yet.

Someone speculated earlier that Disney may be not releasing until everyone signs on in order to only do one re-print of the brochures versus two re-prints. That's a rumor that I can totally believe.

Is there some benefit to the rests. for waiting so long to commit? Are they trying to squeez the mouse for an extra nickel?

Probably some are. Costs of just about everything are still up despite gas coming down, so I'm sure the non-Disney owned restaurants are trying to get the highest possible reimbursement from Disney since they are not paid anything near full menu price for dining plan guests. The question is whether any will think it is worth taking the risk of not accepting the plan or if they'll settle for whatever it is that Disney is offering.

I've read every post, so I know we shouldn't panic, but I am just wondering if I would be wise to make backups for the places that are not yet confirmed???

We leave in 25 days and have ADRs for Tutto Italia and Yak & Yeti.

Yes, some are. Some World Showcase restaurants are owned by Disney, and some are not. Right now, only the ones owned by Disney are on the official list.

That might be expected to change at any time as the list will need to be final as of January 1.

The balance on my 4/3 package was due tomorrow and I just called to pay it off since tomorrow will be a very busy day

For what it's worth...... The CM read me all the new inclusions in the 2009 dining plan from a list which he said was "put on my desk today". He rattled off all the Epcot World Showcase restaurants which were not previously included and all the CSR restaurant also. I'm somewhat inclined to believe him considering the way he so effortlessly spewed this info but who knows??

I called this afternoon to check on the two ADRs that were not listed on the 2009 brochure, and the CM assured me that both will be participating in the dining plan.

I just called the dining number and they told me Teppan Edo was on next year for one table service credit. Yippee! So hopefully the person I talked to knew what was up! Has anyone else called and checked?

We've got an ADR there for dinner of Jan. 26th - party of 6!!!

I was afraid I would have to cancel. Hopefully, this CM was correct.

When I made my ADRs yesterday I asked about Pepper Market being on the DDP and the CM told me to keep checking the web site.

Pepper Market is the best bang for your buck from CS meals on the DDP and is a prime reason we are staying at Coronado Springs in February. I'll be really disappointed if they are not part of it.

imo wolfgang puck cafe is the best CS meals deal on DDP. Sometimes I even use CS at wolfgang P cafe for dinner when I run out of TS.
