Hi there,

I'm so sorry that this update is a bit late.
I know that lots of you are waiting for this update.

Thanks for asking about me and thinking of me all the time.....

I have been to the Neurologist last friday and she also couldn't find anything wrong with me.
My reflexes are all perfect so there is a headache but everything is working okay.
The headache is still there and is not any less painful then last week....
The doctor said that this is not very common but it does occur sometimes
they call it a New Daily Headache or something like that.
Medication is not working so i have to do it without something and just let it be there, it goes away finally but she can't tell me how long it will take.
Sometimes it can last very very long (6-12 months)......

I get a CT scan just to be sure that there is really nothing wrong but that's just to be sure.
There is really no indication that there is something there what shouldn't belong there.
The CT scan i get on march 4 and then another appointment on march 24 for the results.

So nothing is changed but there is some new information and that means i have to wait until this goes away by itself.....

Wednesday i start working again and i hope that the headache still keeps the same then, i hope that working is not causing any bad headaches.....

Again thanks to y'all who's thinking of me.

Thanks for the update Yvette. I am sorry to hear that the neurologist was unable to find anything. I hope if you do have to ride it out, that it won't take 6-12 months! Keep us posted, please. :grouphug: :grouphug: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

Thanks for the update, Yvette. I'm sorry there is no easy fix for the headaches but am glad that the doctor didn't find anything majorly wrong. You must be very frustrated. Headaches suck!!!! I'll keep you in my prayers and thoughts that your pain will be eased and you will be back to 100% in no time flat. (Can't wait to see you in May and give you real hug!!!)

I hope you feel better and get some relief soon. Keeping you in my thoughts.

I hope you get some relief soon and that can be the end of it since they couldn't find anything.

Yvette thinking of you and hope that better health comes your way :grouphug:

So sorry you are still in pain Yvette.

One unsolicited suggestion...have you tried a chiropractor? From my own experience of a couple of years ago (I was having headaches, numbness in my hands and face, and a series of other unexplained issues), this has helped me a lot. I had a CAT scan as well that showed nothing out of the ordinary. I tried the chiropractor as a last resort and it has really helped me. I knew that with my job, all of my stress went right to my neck, back and shoulders but I did not really realize what effect that could have on other, seemingly unrelated, parts of me. I also learned very recently that my facial numbness and some of my headache symptoms were being caused by me grinding my teeth at night, also stress related :-( Sexy new mouth appliance :rotfl: to use at night is helping A LOT.

I really hope you find something that helps soon...I can't imagine how miserable you must be feeling.

We're thinking of you Yvet. Here's to a speedy recovery. I hope the "New Daily Headache" becomes an Old Memory as soon as possible.

Good luck and I hope for a speedy recovery. In one way it is the good the neurologist isn't finding anything because, well, neurologists don't usually find anything desirable but it has to be frustrating not knowing what is wrong.

Thanks for the update, Yvette. I sure hope they can help you out with your headaches. I know they can really suck! I get them quite a bit, but mine are just sinus related. Take care, and I'll see you on the cruise in May!:grouphug:

Thanks for the update Yvet. I'm so sorry to hear you are having a rough time. Those headaches must be so difficult to deal with. Hang in there. We're behind you. I'm thinking good thoughts.

I'm sorry for you - I wish you relief as soon as possible.

Headaches are really tough to diagnose sometimes. It's a frustrating experience for patients and doctors alike.

Wishing you a headache free day very soon. Sending good thoughts your way.

Yvett, I'm so sorry that nothing has been solved regarding the headache. I am thinking of you and hope that you feel better soon!

Wow Yvette- i hope you find something to make you feel better soon. i've been fighting headaches off and on- i find changing my diet helps. sometimes chocolate or caffeine can trigger them for me. exercise helps me too. go figure. lol. i also have some TMJ that makes it worse sometimes.

i hope the pain eases a bit. thoughts and prayers and hugs to you!!!!

I'm so sorry that your doctors are not able to do anything about your headaches. Hopefully they will disappear soon. I have a dear friend who has suffered with sever headaches due to spinal disc injury in an auto accident and so I am familiar with the toll a a constant headache can take.
Hopefully going back to work will have a positive impact on your headaches!
