Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

Hi! I hope you had a great Fourth! I just wanted to tell you that if you have a Walmart in your area to hurry over there -- they are clearing out ALL of their Disney scrapbooking stuff, and it is at rock bottom prices -- like $1.00 for all the stickers, embellishments, and stuff. It was almost completely cleared out already at mine this morning when I went.

Ahh...if I was not so tired I would go tonight. Thank You! Cannot wait to see if I can find some goodies. I do need some extra page protectors.... I am out!

Luke's room looks fantastic! It really turned out great!

GREAT update!!! I LOVE that group shot with all the characters, how special All the pics. are soooo cute! Bummer about missing out on the Test Track car at opening. How cute is Em sleeping in her little chair! Luke's room looks FANTASTIC!!!

My favorite from DS's nursery was a framed and matted vintage map of Disneyland. (map was found on ebay) I had the room themed with antique toys and such. The map was way too cool. I don't know if there is anything available of WDW that compares and would match with your colors...

Yes... but not her bitty baby... it is Hannah's beloved Lucy. Needless to say Hannah was mad to see it with Em.

I just had to come out of lurkdom to tell you that I saw you at Target today!

I was with DD12 and we walked in right behind you guys. I promise we're not stalkers, I just couldn't figure out why I knew you! I kept trying to remember whether I knew you from church or school or preschool (I teach preschool and kept thinking maybe I knew Hannah from another class!)...and then, as we were checking out, it finally hit me that I only "knew" you b/c I had seen the pix. on here!

Now, I feel like I had a brush with celebrity! I've seen Tim from "timandlesley" at that Target too - it must be THE place for DISers!!

We were seated for lunch at about 11:45, one table away from the river. The candle gave us enough light to read the menus... and we knew to decide quick because after O'Hana's we knew that Em could be a stink.

DH ordered the Tacos Al Carbon - flour tortillas filled with grilled chicken or beef, peppers, onions, guacamole, and sour cream but without the peppers onions, guacamole and sour cream. He just wanted chicken, cheese, lettuce. Yes remember he picked this restaurant after looking at the menu. I think the waiter thought he was nuts... oh well.

Then I ordered the Quesadilla, cheese only for Hannah. Again her father's child.

I ordered the Plato Mexicano - grilled beef taco, chicken enchilada and cheese quesadilla, served with black refried beans, guacamole and Mexican rice

They quickly brought us a bowl of chips and salsa... I swear they were TOSTITOS--- not too impressive for a mexican restaurant... but oh well. We ate them anyway, DH did not care, nor did the girls.

Our lunches were fine. Certainly not the best meal, but it was good. Nice to be in the AC and relax. Hannah and Em were good, DH liked his lunch, so I have no real complaints. Not a definite next trip, but not a no way would I go back.

DH took the girls to ride the ride while I paid.... and then they wanted me to go again...and this time we stayed on for a second trip. The CM could not resist Em as she said, "Can I go find Donald again?"

So four trips on the Mexico boat ride so far!

Then for some fun in the marketplace

After lunch we set out to explore the world. The girls got settled in the stroller....I wanted to go see Miyuki at Japan... the first show was at 2:15, in about 45 minutes. DH was planning to take Em to the American Adventure while we watched the candy being made!


Off to China we went. I had hoped to see Mulan... but somehow we missed her. She was not going to be back out for a while so we explored and continued on after the KIDCOT Stop.

The on to Germany... which Hannah remembered was home to Snow White last year. A short line, of about 4 groups formed where the beloved Snow White was supposed to be coming out soon. One of the ladies said she thought Dopey would be coming soon (Lesley- this was your first EPCOT Day...) and much to my girls delight, he did!

So once it was our turn the fun started.

This cracks me up... Em got to Snow White first for the big hug....

and then Em had her big moment... She asked in her sweetest, most innocent voice where the other Dwarfs were. She was truly worried!

Snow White just thought it was so cute... she gave Em a big kiss (sidenote DH thought the Photopass people got the shot... but alas they did not. I am so sad...)

It was so precious. Then the photopass person took the autograph book to capture the "kiss" in the book- smart smart thinking! Emily adores telling everyone about her special kiss.... she told every person the rest of the day. Surprisingly Hannah did not care!

On we went with our happy princesses!

Of course we stopped at the Germany and Italy KIDCOT stops... Hannah at this point made me count how many more countries we could hit.... so we had to go to every single stop!

At the American Adventure we parted ways... but not before I got a great frozen lemonade at the outside stand- so yummy, I was glad Hannah was with me because she really did not like it, but boy Em wanted one!

Onward to Japan. We got a spot right up front... and watched Miyuki make 4 animals... but none for Hannah. She remained patient though, totally watching in amazement. We saw a dragon, an elephant, a pig, and a dolphin. As she finished the final animal she looked at Hannah and said she had waited so well she would make her a small, simple animal.... totally fine with Hannah she was super excited. So she made Hannah a yellow crane.... after the supposed ending. A good lesson in remaining patient!

It was especially nice because the Matsuriza were playing so we got some special music too!

After we finished the KIDCOT at Japan.. we headed back to meet dh and Em because it was starting to sprinkle and we did not have the ponchos or anything....

As we met up with DH and Em as the came out... an accident occured. Mind you my fault totally- Hannah's beloved crane fell off the top of the stroller and the wings broke off. I thought Hannah was going to flip out.. but she really only cried because DH had not seen it. I of course felt terrible for laying it there not taking better care of it. This way though Hannah decided she could eat it- note to all they don't taste good, but I was not going to upset her when she got over my accident so well.

So we headed to Morroco where we paraded through the square with the Genie because they thought it was going to rain, so we went to the indoor character spot!

No way did Em want to see this big guy, she started to color at the KIDCOT right away.

Then onto France... for more princess fun. This time Em wanted to know where the Beast is- I am sure that all the princesses saw this little girl and figured she would not say a thing... but not our Em, she was full of questions!

It was fun to see both in the room together! Then off once again to KIDCOT! We did find a line at the France station, but of course we could not miss getting a token for our mask!


Onward to the United Kingdom... but Mary Poppins was headed in, and Alice was not out... maybe we could see Pooh?

But he was in a honey pot Emily found out, so we saw

Kidcot again... and boy was I happy that we had finally made our way around and were at the final KIDCOT station- Canada. DH and I paused in silence to know that there was no LeCellier for this trip Next time!


As we made it back to Future World... we had more fun adventures ahead!

Up next: How long would we stay at EPCOT? It was 4 now. Would mom get to finally ride one of her favorites since her other favorites don't allow for pregnant ladies? Would Hannah ride Test Track? Who is getting wet and wild?

Thats too funny. I do love Target... but not normally the WC one. I am a Fields Ertel Target girl... but we were out that way at IKEA... and I wanted to check out that Target's clearance!

We did have a good 4th... but a long few days of no swimming! Plus the water is cool now after those cool days. Luke will be here soon- we are doing a sibling class this weekend at the hospital, which should be fun.

Four rides on the Grand Fiesta! I bet you knew that ride by heart! I just love the questions that Em was asking all the princesses!!! That is precious -- as is Snow White's kiss!

What a shame about the candy from Japan -- I've done similar things before -- it looked really cool, and at least you got some pictures of it beforehand!

I think that the characters we see at EPCOT are a big part of why Hannah loves EPCOT. I love the lack of the lines to see them there for the most part too! The kiss was just so sweet to see... Em was so thrilled to get special treatment.

I was super happy for Hannah to get the candy...she really enjoyed watching her again this year, and to be rewarded for waiting so nicely is great. Emily is full of great lines... she is so funny to listen to. She did seem to get into the characters a lot that day.
