Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

That sounds like a perfect first morning at Disney (minus the lack of park opening). How cool to be on the second Dumbo ride of the day. You were some serious power walkers. I didn;t notice a stroller in any of your photos. Did you forgo a stroller on day 1? How did that work out?

I love seeing Em with the characters and hearing her reactions to each of the rides. I think she is about 6 months older than Liam so it gives me a good idea of how he will do. It sounds like she loved Barnstormer -- I am really hoping Liam is big enough to ride that this summer. I *know* he will love it too!

Great morning at MK so far, isn't it nice when you have little to no wait for rides? :woohoo: Your daughters are too adorable together. I can't wait to read more.

Holy cow! You guys got a lot done in a short time. That is awesome! My DD loved the face characters as well. I can't say the same about the others though! :)

The girls look so cute and so excited! You can see the happiness in all of your photos. You look awesome as well.

It was a wonderful day at MK.... we got tons done and waited no more than 20 minutes (and that is because a ride broke down.) Em comes a long way... but boy she loves the princesses! They were so good and happy this day... no moments of whining or anything...it just got better this day!

what a great morning at MK!!! smart move going to fantasyland first. that area fills up so quickly - we always go there first if we get there at opening! and what a brave girl hannah is for riding by herself! :thumbsup2

alice is my favorite character besides peter pan. if i could play any character at WDW it would be her. okay....actually it would be maleficent. but she doesn't do meets with the guests (only at halloween) so alice would be better i think. she's so fun! and getting to hang out with the mad hatter all day must be pretty cool.

we really wanted to meet lady tremaine and the stepsisters, but both times we saw them this past trip the line was horrendous. maybe next time!

Fantasyland got worse... but nothing like our second MK day... we really try to stay out of there until evenings to return after we hit things first thing. Alice was great... super sweet. Emily really thought she was great. Lady Tremaine and the stepsisters were so fun, there was no wait, as if nobody saw them back there! I was thrilled to see a tough find!

I love the faces on the girls in the one where Alice is autographing. They are really trying to figure out the crazy looking guy behind her!

Yes... neither of my girls have seen Alice in Wonderland. I need to borrow it from my niece who adores her!

What great pictures! Sounds like you had a great morning at MK! We were there atht evening and it was very nice. I think most people are scared off by the "red shirts" so we always try to hit MK that day!

Love the stepsister! I've got to try and find them.

Looking forward to more!

It was a great great MK day... we really accomplished everything minus one or two rides by the time we left for the day!

Great update and pics!!! Fantasyland is DEFINITELY the place to be first thing in the AM--you can do it all SO FAST and without waits!!!!

The only time I want to be there is AM... or after nine pm.

HI there :) love the update... your girls are soo cute.. it cracks me up that Em is probably taller than my 4 yr old... Emma loved riding goofy, since there was still so much she couldn't do b/c of not being 40 inches... She too was super excited to be able to ride Goofy!

We never did see the step sisters, very cute~ Looking forward to your Ohana dinner :) hehe....

And Em is shorter than Hannah at two!

That is so strange that they didn't have a normal opening ceremony!:confused3 Yay for Emily being 35 inches! Your girls are SOOOOO adorable! Was the heat unbearable? I am dying to know if you made it over to the AKL and if you did, what you thought!:thumbsup2

The heat honestly was never as bad as it could be. Last August was hotter... I really drank water like crazy and fanned us and made sure to hit the AC. I must say the opening time all I could think about was you and how awesome that would be! That would be high on my list of dreams.. to open MK. I get a lump in my throat when the music starts even in the shortened opening.... I just love MK!

Great pics! The girls are so cute getting autographs and riding the rides!

I can't believe how much you accomplished in just two hours!!! Were you that lucky the whole week? We were extremely lucky on wait times.

We had a ton of luck that day and at EPCOT... our Wednesday at MK.... well???

What a great morning!! Sorry they didn't do the full opening show. I didn't realize that wasn't a "given" every day. But you got to do so much, that is probably a distant memory. The girls cheeks look rosy - combo of excitement and heat, I bet! They really are adorable.

Em gets the red cheeks quickly... she drenched herself plenty of times.. lots of outfits and sunscreen for her!

Just found your TR and loving it! :thumbsup2
I guess we're neighbors? Oh, and your girls are precious!;)

Glad you are joining.....

Your girls are so cute together! I love the picture where they are hugging! That is just priceless!
I can't believe how much you accomplished in one morning!! Wow!! That's great!
Looking forward to more!

It was the best day at MK... keeps getting better!

We rented a double all three park days... although Hannah wallked a lot when we separated into twos...I do walk very fast, even pregnant so we booked it fast. We also got through the entry tunnel quick and had one stroller day left so DH got it quick. She loved the Barnstormer... she knew she was on a big girl ride!

We really had no long waits... Hannah expects everything to be a fastpass ride and for us to have them... she puts the skid on rides with long lines. She actually rejected Peter Pan that morning around 9:40 because it probably had a 15 minute wait! Give her a FP and she is happy!

neither of my girls have seen Alice in Wonderland. I need to borrow it from my niece who adores her!

yes, definitely borrow it! i have it on VHS and we still have a VCR in our bedroom, so i'll put it in every now and then when i'm sorting laundry or getting ready to go somewhere. i LOVE it! i really love all disney movies but to me alice in wonderland is just a masterpiece......so imaginative!

I hate to admit... I really don't remember it much. Maybe this weekend we can get ahold of it.... which would mean that DH would have to hook up the DVD player or VCR (neither of which we have hooked up since we moved in March!)

Not neglecting the TR... but I am really working to get another big job done... my scrapbooks. I am behind, say Christmas of 2006, yes 2006 not 2007. This is for both girls, which means I only have Emily's done until she was 9 months old (sadly 1/3 of her life)...I have pulled all my CDs out and hope to go to Walgreens tomorrow and get some cheap 10 cent prints from the CDs and get caught up before Luke arrives. I have my mess out in the basement... and got some pages done tonight. I am holding the 2 WDW trips till the end... because those pages will be loads of fun. I figure if I cannot get caught up now with two kids I am doomed when I have three!

So I have uploaded a huge chunk of the MK day to come... hopefully tomorrow... but I might get crazy with the pages for the scrapbooks

What a great day. The girls look hot but happy. I have never seen the wicked stepsisters and mother. I hope to see them next time. I completely understand the scrapbook thing. I can't keep up on the vacation albums. Not that we take a lot of vacations, but I seem to do them first and leave the daily photos till the last. I'm still working on, almost finished though, Mexico album 2006. Then I have a Hawaii/shark bite album for 2007. (that one will be a challenge, so much stuff) AND, a MNSSHP album with just DH and I. So don't fret. The pictures aren't going anywhere. At least you're getting them in a book. Scrapbooking is very time consuming and takes a lot of our creative juices. I only have so much.
Can't wait to read more of your TR

I did knock out the 2006 Christmas last night... next up Emily's birthday. I find once I am in the groove I can really get going. I also plan to do similar if not the same pages for the girls when I can. I figure an hour or two daily will get me caught up by August realistically!

OMGosh girl are we on the same wavelength or what? I spent all last night catching up on DD's scrapbooks. I'm finally at her first birthday party! Only one more year to go!:lmao: I think it is a pregnancy thing as I spent all day yesterday rearranging closets....

I'm the same way. DH says I get "in the zone". :)

Tom has to go to Miami all next week for work--yeah, I know, tough life for him! Anyway, my Mom and I, who are both avid scrapbookers, are going to set up all our scrapbooking stuff here at my house and scrapbook like crazy all week!!! Sometimes I think it takes so much time getting everything out and set up that you are worn out by the time you get to scrapbooking!!! Even with only one child, I am still behind---I need to get fall and Christmas 2006 done first too!!! Things should go pretty quickly next week since I will have it all laid out, so hopefully I can get COMPLETELY caught up! I'll keep you posted! ;o)

good for you! Yes you will find it very hard to get caught up once you have your third! I am sooo far behind, I have Emma's first year album done but not much after that.. I think I left off somewhere in the summer of 05! I keep wishing that I had a week ALONE of uniterupted time to get some of this caught up..

Good luck with it and have fun!! maybe you'll motivate me to get my stuff back out..

I am so far behind in our scrapbooks as well. I am impressed you got Christmas all done last night. I do not move that quickly. I have been spending a lot of evenings at Archivers for the ScrapMania. It has really helped me to be only "slightly" drowning in scrapbook pages.

I did Emily's 1st birthday during her nap today... now I need to go and print the pictures for the books tonight when DH gets home. My basement is a disaster...but I really think if I keep it out I can indeed get done before baby comes.

I was in in last night... but i am tired today! Plus I am trying to work with Em on the potty... which is a full time job!

Emily's book is better ... my talents got better, but she has a lot less than Hannah. I know that I must get caught up! I really want to do our WDW stuff... but I am saving that as a treat for last!

See going to Archivers really would stress me out... I would have to get organized just to do that! I do love to go in there and get things though...

I promise an update tomorrow.... I cannot wait to share more of our MK day!

But today was a little crazy here...Emily busted her sweet little lip on our fireplace ( I know I need a guard!) so she was a mess and Hannah well was little miss grumpy after we came back from a morning at Kings Island with a friend.

However....I did get about 100 pictures printed at Walgreens (10 cents a picture- that is think is a bargain) but it took me like an hour and a half to sort through my CDs....So now I am up to scrapbooking last summer- meaning I got Christmas 06, Emily's 1st birthday, Easter 06, and other misc. pages done, over 20 in the past two days.

Once I get summer done... I get to do last year's WDW pages!

I also hope to get back to Walgreens to print our latest trip pictures for my WDW album and finish printing the past year for scrapbooks.

WOW! You better take it easy or your gonna be a wreck in no time! Poor Emily I hope she is OK!:goodvibes Take care of yourself, you are up WAY to late:thumbsup2 :goodvibes

Still loving this trip report your girls are so cute I am also trying to do potty training with my 2 year old boy not as easy as my first one who is now 8 yrs. I don't think hes ready talks about it just dosen't want to do it. Only a few times. If you have any hints feel free to send them this way.

We are in the early stages of potty training over here as well. Lots of "I need to go potty" but not much action. ;)

You are on a roll! I thought I was doing good with my 6-8 pages!!

It must be potty training time of year. I am starting on Monday with Liam!

I am SERIOUSLY impressed with the number of pages you have cranked out. Great work!!!

How did you get 10 cents a print at Walgreen's? That is SUPER cheap!!! Way to go on getting so many pages done---I am SO hoping that after next week's Scrapathon with my Mom that I will be caught up!! Here's to HOPING!!! I too like to save my WDW books for last--they are so much fun!! Poor Em--I hope she is doing okay!!! I've been meaning to ask you and Lesley about Kings Island--Tom and I were wondering if there was enough there for Megs to do to warrant a trip up. We used to be season pass holders all the time when we were younger, but haven't renewed them once since Megan came around. I know once we know it is worth our money, we will definitely start doing a family pass again, but I was just wondering how much there is for her to do now. Thanks for any input!! Jen
