Update 9-11 MCS!...Can we keep it a surprise???? Our June trip to WDW w/ pics

I'm sorry to hear the garage sale didn't go as well as you hadhoped. The weather yesterday wan't too great for a garage sale until late morning so I am sure a lot of people decided not to shop. TOTAL bummer for you guys!

The conservatory looks gorgeous. My mom really wanted to go last time she was here but we found something else to do instead. Are the butterflies there for a long time? I think the boys would be astounded by them. Also, you look gorgeous in that photo!! Pregnancy must really agree with you!

Total bummer on Splash! Will DH ride it with Hannah? I am thinking a Dole Whip will be a great way to pass the time during the ride! So glad that you found out Soarin is OK! It would totally bum me out if I had to miss that one!!

The butterflies are there until sometime in June.... lots of fun! A weekday I am sure would be even better... less crowded.

DH will take Hannah on Splash Mountain... he tolerates it. Hates getting soaked.

Another fun thing you could do after your dole whip is to take em to a gift shop and buy a special new plush to bring home for your future baby boy! I did that on our 2nd trip to WDW when I was pregnant with dd. Although I didn't know it was a dd at the time I took my 2yr old with me to the gift shop by splash mountain and let him help me pick out a stuffed lovey to give to the baby when she was born. It is still in her room and I'll tell you every time I look at it all those disney memories and that magical pregnant feeling come rushing back to me. I love telling her that her brother and I picked it out for her as her souvineer from when she was at disney in mommy's belly.:cloud9:

How awesome that you are still in normal pants! I wish I could say the same and I'm 20 weeks! :)

We used to go to see the butterflies all the time growing up. Is the conservatory in Cincinnati?

There's a cute shirt that says I watch ESPN with Daddy (or Mommy). And for the girls a shirt that says You can't spell princess without ESPN.

Woo hoo!!! I cannot believe how close this is... and it's still a suprise!

I am now ready to break apart the days and what we are planning to do each day!

Arrival Day:

When we at MCO around 9:30 we hope to catch the Magical Express bus to POFQ. We are going to check in.... beg for a good room location (sending the pregnant woman should help) and then either check out our room or hit the foodcourt. I'm not sure how much breakfast we will eat before our flight... I am sure I will have starving children. Then an afternoon poolside!

At least Emily will for sure need a nap, probably all of us from the early morning- we will be leaving our house pretty early that morning

Dinner that night is late 7:55 at Chef Mickey's. I will continue to call and try to move up... and I figure traveling by bus to MK and then over to the Contemporary will take at least 45 minutes.
Highlights from last year!

I am hoping that Em warms up a little bit! She was excited... as long as they stayed away! Admiring from a distance!

Then back to POFQ for bed so we will be ready for our Day at Magic Kingdom!

It sounds like the perfect start to your Disney vacation! I am super excited about eating at Chef Mickey's that Monday night -- we have never been. Your pics got me even more excited!

What a great start. Not too rushed, yet you still have a lot of fun things to do. Hopefully the girls will take a nice nap that day. :)

Chef Mickey's is lots of fun.... last time I was a little disappointed in the food, but to see the main guys it cannot be beat. I need to be a little more hungry and eat some more desserts there!

I hope for naps too!

I have definitely heard mixed reviews about Chef Mickey's. We want to go for the whole experience of seeing the main guys, and trying out that sundae bar. :thumbsup2

That's why I didn't book Chef Mickey's this trip. I did LTT instead to see the "main guys". I have heard mixed reviews of that also, but thought I would try it.

Saturday June 7th

Today we hit Magic Kingdom... my favorite park! Just walking down Main Street gets me so excited. The park opens at 9 and we will be there! We will watch the opening show and then send dad to get our stroller.... and off we will be!!!!

Here are some of the best of the best MK pictures:

Here is a list of what we hope to accomplish over the two days:

Must Do:

I know they are not in order... I will follow TGM's MK plans again! His plans really worked well for us!

Walt Disney World Railroad
Aladdin Magic Carpets
Jungle Cruise ( Hannah really loved this, we did it the last night of our trip and she wanted to ride it again... so I hope to get it in twice)
Splash Mountain (Not me:confused: )
Big Thunder Mountain (Not me:confused: )
Tom Sawyer Island (Haven't been there in a long time!)
The Haunted Mansion (Closed last year....not sure if the girls will be ready for this!)
Mickey’s Philharmagic (Twice hopefully)
It’s a Small World ( I hate to think of the times we will ride this... both girls love it)
Peter Pan’s Flight (FP away)
Carrousel
Dumbo (Just once... first ride hopefully)
Snow White’s Scary Adventure (not sure if I will try Em)
Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Mad Tea Party ( I think this is out for pregnant ladies)
Ariel’s Grotto (we met Ariel first thing when she opened... worked wonderful!)
Belle Storytime (if we can stand the heat!)
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway ( I can't do this either... so daddy will have to do it twice)
Astro Orbiter (Closed last trip)
Buzz Lightyear (Hannah loved it... Em not so much)
Monster's Inc. Comedy (Hannah and I did... DH did not get to try it)
Tomorrowland Transit Authority (great for relaxing)
Barnstormer (DH and Hannah) and Toontown exploring... including Donald's boat... a nice refreshing spot!

Might try
Country Bear Jamboree (It has been years...)
Carousel of Progress - I love this....
Hall of Presidents DH loves this...

My goal is to do Fantasyland and a few others before lunch.
We are eating late... 1:15 at the Castle! I am super excited to eat there with my princesses. I have not ate in the Castle since I was probably 10. We will bring the dresses to wear for lunch.

Then we will leave for a late rest... and return that night! I want to see Spectro/Wishes I hate to put it off in case of bad weather. So a late night it might be, but we can rest Sunday!
