UPDATE #3: Alas, my poor heart is broken...

Right...an update. Wellll...she wasn't in class yesterday, but today I had to go by her office to pick up a play script for class. She came out and was like "hi", and then I was like "hey", and then I couldn't think of anything else to say until five minutes later when she was down the hall in another room.

Utterly hopeless I'm telling you....utterly hopeless.

Hey, but I can play guitar a little bit!

:( :( Sorry. Maybe the flirters on JolieC's "Do you flirt?" thread should give some helpful hints! The guitar's a good start!:teeth:

:goodvibes :goodvibes

It aint the salad that made you feel sick. It's those butterflies in your stomach.
Sounds like she's interested so it's up to you! You can do it. Just be yourself and remember she is also nervous so you have company.

She is a proper young lady who is not going to make the first move. You must, young Luke!!!!

Well, the cute girl held the door open for me when I went to class...

But then my friend told me that someone told him she has a boyfriend she's been dating for two years.
:sad1:
The good ones are always taken.

Oh well...at least now I won't stress so much over talking to her. Somewhat disappointing though. I wish I could have talked to her and found out on my own too.

Anyways...life goes on.

keep talking to her anyway, you never know, she might become available, and you will have already established a friendship

Yep, the age old, "be her friend". :) And who knows the info could be wrong.

You never know what turns life will take. When my SO originally asked me out, I turned him down because I was hung up on someone else. Six months after that, we ran into each other at a dinner. I wasn't so hung up...he was awfully charming...and well, the rest is history!;)

He may be a jerk and she is wanting out. She may like you anyway. Who knows. You might have to take a good beating from the ex over her but love is worth it...right? ;)

Keep talking to her. You just never know. I was in an abusive marriage when I met my SO. He stood by me through all the bad times and became my best friend. After the marriage was annulled he & I started dating and now we live together and are quite happy.

Yeah you gotta keep talking to her. Nothing like being there for the rebound. :teeth:

Boyfriends are temporary things.....;)
