I am the owner of the BCV tree #2 (and assorted other trees.... lol)

I will see if I can take a picture of the ornaments, and post them... give me a week or so :-) If memory serves me they are pastlely greens/ blues/ purples... the BWV's one are bolder reds and such...

Here is a bad picture of the decorations... they are all plastic, but look pretty good (and ship well! lol)... Also there are a few orniments that others donated from last year in there too...

And the two boxes for shipping...

EDITED TO ADD... last year a lot of lovely DISers snuck in little gifts for me. It was so so SOOOOOOO sweet of them... But this year... if any of you are so inclined to sneak me a gift, could you, instead of giving me something, Send Slink a Hat?? The link in my siggy tells the story.... Thanks for taking the time to read it....

Laura- That's so sweet of you to have people send hats to Slink! I think I'll do just that!

Does anyone know what the BCV's #1 tree looks like, or how big it is?? Do I need to bring lites for it?

The Bcv Tree #1 is about 3 feet tall with ornaments that look like the VWL deco. This tree was at the VWL last year. The tree is one of those optic fiber tree, no lights needed. I also have two sets of lights and extention cord in the tree box for the balcony. A very good Discer friend of mine was the last family to have the tree and took the tree home with them, and they never sent the tree back to me but promised to send the tree down to the BCV when we need it. :thumbsup2 otherwise i probably would have taken the tree apart and decorated the tree like the BCV. Maybe i can get her to bring it with her in oct for the members cruise and i can bring it home to redo the tree . ;) If i find a pic of the tree i will post it. :cloud9:

MemoryMakers2669 This thread has nothing to do with the Official Dec. 2006 List thread.

If you are on this thread DVC christmas tree, sharing a little magic,
Tree List, please check page one of this thread, this is the Official Tree list.

Thank You ! :thumbsup2

dwelt I can squeeze you in on the SSR Tree #3 to pick the tree up on Dec. 17 after 11am and dropping the tree off on Dec. 22nd before 11am. If this works please let me know soon. :goodvibes

I'll be happy to redecorate the BCV #1 tree when it comes to me Dec. 10th or send you some ornaments if you want to do it. I'd love it! Thanks for the description of the tree and for letting me know about the balcony lights. Thanks in advance for posting a pic if you have one!! This is going to be so fun!

It has nzdisneymom Dec. 20-23
and pixiechick Dec. 23-28

nzdisneymom is just listed wrong, she has tree #3.

pixiechick isn't listed at all :confused3 That is why I asked if there was another set of trees out there. Just making sure things are good, so noone is disappointed (pixiechick)

:wave2: :wave2: Thanks for looking out for me!! :thumbsup2
We had originally signed up for the list when WDWstar started it. At that time, we were staying VWL with cash-no points left for an unplanned trip! When AP rates came out, we switched to BWI (concierge splurge for our 20th anniversary!) At that point, I cancelled our place on the tree list. TMI, I'm sure! But again, thanks for double checking and Have A Wonderful Trip!!! :santa:

Thanks for clarifying pixiechick and not being offended that I was asking about it!

I thought it would be nice to add the tree sharing info on the December List. As I only update it every so often, the info may be behind the current 'official tree list'. I'm sorry for any confusion.

A BIG BIG BIG thank you from the Rigdon family for donating a tree and letting us share the use of it on our trip. It is our first trip when we get a Grand Villa and we are taking several family members who have never been to the World.
We are sharing in this tree:
BCV TREE #3 TRAVELING TREE
----------------
LauraBearz (Donating a Tree)
bugdozer Nov. 18th - 29th OKW
pohhj80 Dec. 3rd - 8th SSR
Gymbomom Dec. 10th - 15th OKW
lisaviolet Dec. 17th - 22nd OKW
OnMedic Dec. 23rd - 26th OKW

I saw your pics, but can I ask you a few more ??'s about this tree?
I think you said it was already lit. Did you say fiber optic? WHat color are the lights?
We wanted to add an ornament to the tree, to leave behind, what color should we pick out. I think you were saying the ornaments for the BCV trees are pastels.

Thanks Again!!!! :goodvibes

The tree is a 4 foot prelit multi colored light tree... NOT fiber optic... I am not sure if i have 2 sets of the red decorations and 1 of the multi, or the other way around.... I will check soon... the pastel multi decorations are in the picture... if that helps.

I have also included some lights for the baclony and a 12 foot OUTdoor extension cord... Last year I forgot both the extention cords and HOOKS! lol but rest assure people from last year pitched in and all my sets are complete now!!! You may want to bring extra lights for the Grand Villa Balconies... they are quite GRAND! lol

That's it for now... I will check and see exactly what I ahve soon... just dont feel like going in the attic at the moment... rofl

Thanks so much!!! Whenever you get a chance!!! :)
I am so excited!!

Mlill no harm down here ! Thank you so much for keeping track of "Who & Where everyone will be down during December, just keeping that all together is a lot of work, and trying to keep up with who is involved in the sharing a Tree. Great Job, well done ! :thumbsup2

I just looked at this thread for the first time...

We'll be at Saratoga Springs Dec 31st-Jan 9th in a one-bedroom and would love to host a tree for any of that time. My only question is - it "ends" on the 7th, if one has the tree at that point, then what? Ship it back somewhere? Trash it? Save the lighting/decorations? :confused3

I promise to post pictures if we do host the tree. :)

Please tell us about BC villas tree No 2. I was the original person who asked if there was a picture of it anywhere:) Thanks so much!!!! :cloud9:

Hi! I posted the picture I have here.... http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=14623346&postcount=141

with more details in post 151 at the top of this very page :-)

I know not a picture of the tree itself, but it gives you an idea of what the decorations look like.

Groucho I can add you to the SSR Tree #3, you can pick up the tree on dec. 31 and you can keep the tree until Jan. 9th, but you will have to ship the tree back to the original owner before you leave wdw or if your driving you can ship the tree back when you get home. In the tree box we are asking families to donate a few dollars to help with the shipping down to the resort and back home. If your interested please let me know soon, thanks ! :thumbsup2

wdwstar, that sounds fine. I can pay for the shipping back (or my portion of it, if there's enough donations where I don't have the pay the full shipping cost.) If that's not enough, let me know and I can throw in a little more. I'd probably end up adding an ornament too. :)

We're flying, so I'm not sure how the shipping works... hopefully that's something that can be done right from the resort?

We are staying at BWV from Dec 3- Dec 11 and would love to host a tree. Please let me know if we are able to get in on this great holiday tradition.
