1) Sings-of-Life is a fitting description.
2) But, a faint pulse is a better description.
3) More eateries and shopping are not my idea of Pleasure Island.
4) It looks like they are changing the meaning of Pleasure Island

5) Originally named for Merriweather Adam Pleasure, the adventurer.
. . . hence, The Adventure's Club
. . . decorations and "artificats" from his private warehouses
6) With new changes, it could be the Pleasure Island from Pinocchio
. . . and playground for the children
. . . but, children played "adult" games
. . . they also drank and smoked and misbehaved

2) The abbreviation could be "DUD".

Sounds fitting. It's turning into what DD is in Anaheim. I'd much rather that area be what it was...a parking lot. I was very underwhelmed when I walked through that area to and from DL. It's amazing to consider at one time (during DDA's construction) they considered a club similar to the AC. Decided to scrap it though for many reasons. I wonder, if they had decided to go with it, if PI would still be around.
