How soon is your trip? I’m just wondering whether I might get the same call before our December trip. I’d go for one of those bags!

If you don't receive a call, you can just schedule a member update presentation while on property. They're displaying the bag at all the DVC booths throughout the resorts and parks when staffed.

I saw them giving them out to members who took the tour of the PIT during the open house window when I was there 2 weeks ago. They are better than the string bags, kind of like an imitation Lug bag.

I think your guide is the one to call you. So if you don't have a guide or don't have a relationship with a guide that may be why.

Yeah the juice ain't worth the squeeze, here. Maybe if you're staying at a resort that hosts the tours or if you are thinking of more points anyway, sure. But otherwise it's a waste of time.

The fact that I know how I can get one of the bags makes me not want it more. All of us here on the boards are way more knowledgeble on the product, so what are we going to learn from the presentation? Therefore, I assume that anyone I see wearing and using the bag is not one of us and probably needed to learn something.

I got mine by touring Poly including the Bungalows, which I wanted to do even if I got no swag from it. Win win for me

You can book a one on one with a guide at whatever hotel your at if your not staying at a hotel thats convenient to the group presentations.

I took the opportunity to tour rooms i wanted to see as well and I was very upfront about the fact that I am looking to purchase direct, but not until next year and I wanted my bag

Member for 25 years and have never received that kind of call or offer either, but, just this morning I received an email that said this and included a phone number. To be honest I could care less about the 'gift' but would like to tour the Poly tower and maybe have lunch there during my late October stay. I have been stalking to add a night in the tower just recently. The Poly was my first Disney resort and I stayed there on many occasions before buying DVC. Have stayed there quite a few times since also. No chance I would buy as I have as many points as I can use and have had plenty success in staying where I want.

Our guide gave them to us when we added on.
