As long as you are booked for dates before the beginning of January, nothing will change about your trip. What people are waiting for is price and definitions of what the plan will be for the 2011 season. Right now, packages can not be booked for 2011 since this information has not yet been released.
The 2010 plan will not change; the only possible changes might be if a new restaurant opens (such as Via Napoli) that accepts the plan, or if a restaurant that accepts the plan closes.
No - my understanding is that the "new" dining plan - whatever it may be - becomes effective in 2011. If you're still traveling in 2010, you're not affected in any way...at least not any negative way.
If you check in before January 1 your dining plan will be the 2010 plan as far as the plan allotments you receive.
However, if Le Cellier goes signature in January as is rumored, I don't know how that will affect those who checked in before the change. I'm guessing that if it does go signature as of January 1 and you have a reservation there in January it will cost 2 credits to eat there no matter when you checked into your resort. That will affect only guests whose trips start in December and end in January.
