Upcoming flights within the next few weeks...Check which type of Aircraft you are booked on

Hello All, I just received a message from my company travel department. I thought I would share here as well. You will want to check what type of plane you are booked on if you plane to fly within the next few weeks. All Boeing 737 Max 8 and Max 9 have been grounded for safety checks. You might need to change your flight arrangements if you were scheduled to fly on one of these aircrafts.

Note the mandate pertains to only the 737 MAX 8 and 737 MAX 9 aircraft (sometimes coded as 7M8 or 7M9) and not other Boeing aircraft.

I would assume that airlines themselves are also informing passengers if their flight is effected.

Yes, the airlines are reaching out....but they are so backlogged...that in some cases; they are allowing customers to go on-line and make changes themselves; without incurring any fees.
