I like the green exchange idea too. The only downside is everyone and their brother is handing out tote bags now. I just hope we don't end up exchanging tote bags. :lmao:Of course, that may make the tote bag a little more interesting.

I like the GREEN and scavenger box ideas. The totes are cool. All of our cars have them now. We hardly ever get plastic bags in the stores.

I also like the craft in a box idea. Wish my boys were still young enough to want to do that one.

I voted other. I was wondering if anyone besides me is a Starbucks addict??? I was thinking a Starbucks mug exchange might be fun. You could include those little bags of coffee (doesn't have to be Starbucks), coffee mug heat pad or whatever you might call it, coffee recipes, etc.

Okay -- I have another idea!

Just the opposite of a regional exchange. The item(s) need to be from a country other than where the sender lives.
It can be one item, or multiple. And can be beverage or food related, gadgets, stationary, clothes, whatever. Just can't be considered international because it was made in China or Taiwan (unless it is something normally bought and used in that region).

:cool2: How about that?

I like the scavenger hunt idea, the travel sized items and the stationery exchanges.

The scavenger hunt sounds fun, also the flip flop always need those.
Has anyone ever done a Bath and Body Works exchange? I love that store.

I vote for the Scavenger Hunt, A Green Exchange, and trhe Stationary.

How about a Potatoe Head parts Exchange,
Themed Gift Basket/Set: Movie Night, Gardening, Spa, Disney
Craft supplies such as scrapbooking stuff, Sewing items, etc.
~Mary

scrapbooking has been done a few times, last time was a disaster, so it was decided not to do it again.
Patsy does gardening ones. I think one finished up not too long ago.

I don't think enough people has access to potato parts

We have done Bath and Body Works many times....Dania used to do them. I know the semi annual sale is coming in June, so maybe one can be arranged by then, if there is enough interest.

Is there an interest in another garden exchange? If so, then maybe I will put another one together since people are starting to plant now. This is usually a small exchange, but as long as we have three or four people, it is a go :).

I posted a new poll with some of the "other" items listed to see what the interest is in them....be sure to go post on it

You would be surprised how the potato head parts are around. (And I have many of them. :dance3:) Now they are always coming out with new Mr Potato Heads.
Seems like just last weekend we saw one for a different Star Wars character than before. DH says it was CP (whatever the name is).
I have LOTS of potato head parts around the house. :sad2: Probably the most unusual one that people have mentioned to me is the Transformer one. (I use to have some displayed on a shelf at work.)
Seems I always need arms. :confused3
Geez, just looking up on a shelf above my computer I have at least a dozen.... And they aren't all out. :rolleyes1

Okay, this poll closes tomorrow and there has been no new input in a couple of days, so the results are:

scavenger hunt will be starting May 7
beach towels will be starting May 28
travel size products will be starting July 2
stationery supplies will be starting Aug. 13
flat rate will be happening, but probably not until winter

Missy1961 will be hosting the "green" exchange in June

DisneyCP2002 will be hosting the flip flop and the Bath and Body Works exchange

not enough interest in craft, Starbucks or international ones for now

they wall sound good to me--

Im anxious to get back in the exchanges but since I havent been able to post

in a very long time I really missed doing them.

I have since signed up for a free email with gmail and now I can post again!!!

I have to get 10 posts before I can sign up for the exchanges
