Upcoming August trip from NY

So excited about our August trip to the Fort! We will be arriving on the 4th and staying until the 15th. Our plan is to take two night to drive down and we stay just one night on the way home. Anyway, here's the crazy part...we are bringing our dogs with. We have a 13 year old Keeshond and a 4 year old Jackabee. They both have been traveling and camping with us for their entire lives. I'm so excited to have my three favorite things involved in this trip: camping with the family, Disney, and the dogs!

I see in your sig that you were at the Fort in 2007. Was that in a cabin or a campsite?

Hello! We stayed in a campsite back in 2007 when we drove down. Since then, DH had to change jobs due to his workplace closing, so his vacation time was cut down to 2 weeks. Since we take long weekends closer to home, there was no way we would have enough time to drive to the Fort and back. We like to take our time getting there and he doesn't let me tow. LOL anyway, this year he increased to 3 weeks vacation, so FW was at the top of our list! As I stated earlier Disney and camping are two of my favorite things! Wish we lived closer so we could make shorter trips there more often!

We travel with our two dogs and love having the boys with us. We had just one dog on our last trip to the Fort, so June will be the first Fort visit for our second furboy. If your dogs are social they will love the dog park at the Fort!
