Up to 40% of Disney employees are gay?

And while Disney has never officially sanctioned Gay Days -- the annual pilgrimage of gays to the parks -- the company has become more openly supportive of its gay work force, which could be as high as 40 percent, say current and former gay employees.

"Disney has a pretty strong track record of being a positive place for gays to work," said Doug Swallow, an original Gay Days organizer.

I applaud Disney for being so open minded. This is am impressive number.

I think that estimate is a bit high but when I was a CM there were several gay cast members. Disney is quite a melting pot with CMs from all over the world and from different walks of life. I loved my time there and really enjoyed getting to know people who grew up differently than I did.

It's always nice when employers can be open minded! I'm not gay, but I have serveral family members who are, and who have had a hard time finding or keeping a job. Some people can be so narrow minded!
