Up at 5AM CST and ADR's did not go as planned :(

I know it happens every day but when you plan so carefully and you can't get in to your ADR's it's so disappointing

Here is what I wanted
11/7 - Dinner - Portobello 6pm
11/8 - Breakfast - Akerhaus 8am
Dinner - Via Napoli 7pm
11/9 - Breakfast - Crystal Palace 8am
Dinner - BOG anytime
11/10 - Dinner - BOG (if didn't get on 9th)
11/13 - Dinner - H&V 430pm (Fantasmic Package)

What I got
11/7 - Dinner - Bongos 715pm
11/8 - Breakfast - Nothing
Dinner - Akerhaus 810pm
11/9 - Breakfast - Crystal Palace 910am
Dinner - Nothing
11/10 - Dinner - Nothing
11/13 - Dinner - H&V 420pm (Fantasmic Packages not available yet)

My Questions ~
~ Any reviews on Bongos? We are celebrating my cousins birthday.
~ I am really sad about not getting Akerhaus for breakfast.. Are we going to miss the fireworks with an 810pm ADR?
~ Via Napoli, my husband LOVES pizza and I REALLY wanted to reserve this for him
~ Crystal Palace - I am holding out hope to get an earlier ADR.. am I fooling myself?
~ BOG - I actually got an ADR for 11/8 at 835am but that means I would have to switch around our Epcot and MK day. Right now Epcot has late EMH on the 8th and MK has ate EMH on the 9th. So switching just to have breakfast at BOG would mean no breakfast at Crystal Palace (which I love) and no EMHs for either park.. suggestions?

I have set up searches in touring plans and I do have 6 months to make changes but it's still a not so magical way to start the morning..

Don't be disheartened just yet, you do need to have the perseverance to keep checking but I'm sure some things will become available that you haven't been able to get now.

The 30 day mark is a good time because many people won't be fulfilling their obligation to pay but also in the few days before. Just before my last trip I managed to score a 7.40pm ADR at Cali Grill and an 8.15am breakfast at Akerhaus.

Honestly just keep your fingers crossed - also check out the ADR cancellation threads. They can work a treat too!

I had the same issues on my ADR day for my October trip, but have since gotten almost everything sorted out. It's taken quite a lot of checking back over and over. It's frustrating, I know. The one I'm still hoping for is my pre-opening breakfast. I do think you're cutting it close with Akerhaus, but maybe someone else can say for sure.
I'm interested to hear how touring plans works, though.

With an 8:10 ADR and Illuminations starting at 9:00, you will be cutting it very close. The real problem I find with this situation is that you'll find yourself rushing to eat and constantly checking the time rather than relaxing, taking your time, and enjoying your meal.

Check back all the time and at least once everyday. I didn't get all of mine on my first try either. I got my BOG dinner ADR 4 days after my bookings and I just happened to check while I was on my lunch break at 1:00 pm. There was no rhyme or reason to it, it just showed up. I almost choked on my sandwich!

Also keep checking today and tomorrow frequently, whenever you get the chance. Throughout the day, people change and swap things all the time.

Have you tried calling? I just quickly went and looked at Portobello for 11/7 because I was having a hard time believing you couldn't book that one and when I search for 2, nothing comes up, but when I search for 3, lots of available times around 6pm come up. Likewise when I search for 4, nothing, but 5 lots of availability. Something funky going on with the online booking, so maybe a call will help to solve some of the stuff you're missing. Or if you don't want to call, trying going up one on your reservation # and see if that helps.

2. You will find an earlier for Crystal Palace. I wanted it for the first day of my trip, and couldn't get PPO. A week later, I got an 8:25.

3. BOG is super awkward due to party night shutdowns. You have a better chance than you think.

4. Akershus breakfast may open up when people know what is up with Frozen at Epcot. A lot of people are holding multiple ADRs.

That's true for most of Disney Springs. They are contracted with Disney, not owned by. They release a limited set of times and tables to the Disney ADR system.

Most restaurants, when you call for a reservation, don't give you a confirmation number. You're okay.

Definitely call the restaurant directly! We did this with TRex and had no issues. It never showed availability in Disneys website.
We got Via Napoli a few days before we wanted to go. It had lots of available ADRs open up whole we were there too. Don't lose faith! You will get what you want!

I am not sure how many are in your party, but I see a 6:55pm reservation available for 2 at Via Napoli on 11/8 and also a 7:30pm reservation for 4.

FWIW, I never book at 180....usually closer to 45 - 60 (and I am sitting at 35 days out and haven't booked anything yet)...and nothing is ever "sold out". I can get anything I want. So, I wouldn't put a lot of stock in availability today. Keep checking. I am betting you will end up with 95% of what it is you want.

See! You are already making progress.. most of the Disney Springs restaurants are a lot easier getting if you call directly, as they only load a limited number of openings on Disney's site. They always have more availability directly. Keep checking for the others! Persistence pays off with ADR's. If we ever had trouble on our 180 day mark, we always eventually got the ones we wanted and at the times we wanted.

My family really enjoyed Bongos - so I'd hang on to that ressie unless you get everything else you want. Keep checking back, you'll *fingers crossed* get your way in the end

Sometimes Epcot ressies are limited for that time of year at 180 days because not everything is fully released until dates for Candlelight Processional packages are confirmed. Keep checking.. I bet you get Via Napoli eventually.
