Going to Universal for a full week in February 2022. Figured annual passes would be worth it.
Should we buy them at today’s prices (the 12 month clock will start with the first visit)?
Or, should we wait and see if they will offer an extra 3 month promotion (think they offered this in January this year)?
Not sure how likely they would raise annual pass prices between now and January.

I buy when I can live with the price I paid

I prefer to lock in the items I need early rather than later

I need peace of mind that my trip is all set way in advance more than saving $$

I do read many do buy at the lowest rate or deal they can find
No problem doing that.

If the extra 3 months gets you another trip, then I'd definitely wait. There was a price increase in May, so I wouldn't expect another one before your trip...

Thanks for the replies! Good to know the last price increase was in May. Think we’ll wait and see if something happens in January. An extra couple months may come in handy - some major Harry Potter fans in the family.

Actually the last AP price increase was April 1, 2021. They offered the 3 extra month deal during March. I remember getting an email but I had to let mine expire, so I'll be buying new again. It would be nice if they offered the deal again, but I feel as if right now visits and demand is so high, they have no need to. We'll see.

Wonder if they will do an increase when Disney releases their new AP and rates. That should happen sometime this month or next.
