UO newbie....needs help for Spring Break 2011!

I'm just like another poster...know Disney like the back of my hands, how to find deals, info, etc. I am planning on us going to US (prob just IOA, but don't know), for 2 days/1 nt after our Disney cruise in mid-Mar 2011.

- how can I get discounted tix, more than just the $5 off AAA offers? Do they ever have good local coupons that I could have my friend in FLA p/up for me?
- Does Disney ME go to the UO hotels/resorts? Was wondering b/c I didn't know if I would need to rent a car to get us from the port to hotel, and then to airport, or could just use ME?
- Which hotels/resrts do you recommend? I've seen that only certain ones allow you early access, have a shuttle, etc. Doubletree any good?

If you go to the main Universal board you will see a thread about Costco tickets and one about Mapleleaf tickets. You should read those.

Universal is not part of Disney. Magical Express is Disney and would not go anywhere near Universal.

The offsite hotels require you to take a shuttle and don't include unlimited express passes or early entry like the onsite resorts do. There are many good offsite resorts. During busy times, I recommend that you stay onsite.
