Just collected my A-Level results:

Psychology - C (unit grades A, A, D)

Religious Studies - C (unit grades B, C, C)

I'm so relieved!! I taught myself as there wasn't a college in my area that did the courses I wanted to do, thank goodness it paid off!!!

My friend eldest got 3 A's 1 B & 1 C and she got into uni. Her youngest got A,B & C for her AS & a B for one A level she took early.

Perhaps she should have watched more TV! Oh well she's got good marks in her other subjects.

DS had AS results (a,b,b,c,d) and then within an hour went for an interview for a Saturday job. To say he was a little stressy this morning is an understatement. He won't know about the job until next week but he's happy with his exam results.

Miss_Lumiere, that's amazing that you can get grades like that havign taught yourself...

I remember waiting for my A level grades about 5 years ago (it doesn't seem that long ago!) and needless to say, it's amazingly nerve wracking, but fantastic once you know what you've got. It doesn't get any easier either - just wait until you're waiting for your degree result, which is what I was doing last year. This time next year, I'll either be highly strung trying to finish my MSc or relieved to have just finished depending on when the final hand-in date is.
