Unusual Stocking Stuffers

This is a first for us, but I am done listening to the kiddos complain that they never have enough of these items.

DS15 - is getting a huge bottle of:

These days, he eats it on everything it seems.

DD13 - is getting 2 can of:

I am sick of hearing her and her dad argue over who used the last of the spray cheese.

I saw a USB hub like this at best buy yesterday. I little stick figure man who's arms and legs were usb connectors. It was $10. You might want to check by the check out at best buy near you and then you can have a stick figure set!

My kids always get their very own roll of Scotch tape. My mom doesn't do real presents for us grown kids anymore, but likes to give each couple or adult child a stocking with treats and a few practical things like toothpaste or body wash as well as an ornament. Sometimes she gets silly and throws in something completely weird. One year I got a huge pair of gloves covered with orange sticky rubber strips. No idea what that was about, but Mom laughed for like 30 minutes... Uh, thanks?

I always loved getting a new pair of socks or two in my stocking each year.

Thank you for this wonderful idea!!!! DD7 begs for this stuff, and I never buy it b/c she's the only one that eats it and it's expensive to go waste. I think Santa will be making this delivery!

Santa is actually going to spring for the Kraft stuff. He's not going to bring the store brand. That'll really flip her lid.

The tape is SO funny!

When my 10 year old was about 4, he LOVED masking tape. He would make masking tape "walls" by placing the tape from one end of the door frame to the other. Then he would hang items on the tape.

So, one Christmas, Santa brought 5 rolls of masking tape. He was so excited, he got right to work and didn't want to be bothered opening up is "real gifts".

I have also spent about 5.00 at the "gumball" machines in our grocery store buying sticky hands. I got about 10 of them and put them in my sons' stockings. They loved them, but I can remember this little standing next to me in the grocery store ... just watching me put in the quarters for the machine. He just couldn't figure out why a grown woman would want to buy so many sticky hands!

And ... another weird gift I buy ... that won't fit into their stockings is a box of Crackling Oat Brand. I rarely buy this cereal since it is so expensive but my sons love it. I actually have to put their names on the boxes so that NO ONE else eats their cereal.

DS8 is getting pop tarts , I very rarely buy them , only on camping trips and the last trip in Oct I picked up chocolate thinking it would be a hit, ummm no it was not .

So Santa is going to bring him a cpl of packs of his favorite Strawberry . Not sure what else. I need some other fun unusual ideas.
