Unusual/note worthy deserts

Nothing interactive, but the Cotton-Top Tamarin cupcake at Animal Kingdom looks really cute, and it's like two desserts in one--candy and cupcake.

And when you're in HS, maybe try one of those Darth Vader cupcakes. So much chocolate! And peanut butter. Lots to peanut butter.

Well, I know what I'm having in a couple weeks!! Drool!!!!!

my son loved the volcano dessert at skipper canteen (it was the only thing he liked, lol).

it was pretty cool looking with the sugar lava

he also loved the current incarnation of the grey stuff at BoG

ooey gooey toffee cake

bread pudding at 'Ohana (or tambu lounge)

I’m not really sure. Fondant would be my guess. It is filled with a cake and mousse.

The Jack Daniels and Bailey’s mousse at the Coral Reef is to-die-for! I mean so super crazy good, you will forget about how awful your entree was and want to dine there again. LOL!

Ger’s Bread Pudding at Raglan Road comes with two insanely delicious sauces, butterscotch and vanilla. If I spend the time and effort it takes on Disney transport to get to and from Disney Springs, that dessert will be the reason.

Honorable mention must go to the mini dessert selection at the Garden Grove in the Swan. For one thing, an internationally renowned pastry chef supervises the bakery there. For another—lemon meringue cupcakes. There were other awesome choices at this dessert buffet including mini chocolate tarts and tiny banana cream pies, but those lemon meringue mini cupcakes were fantastic.

They are lemony perfection—not too tart nor too sweet. The lemon flavor was totally real—no chemical-tasting citrus. The cake part of it was moist and delicious plus it was filled with a glob of scrumptious lemon curd. They were topped with a swirl of toasted meringue and a sliver of lemon fondant.
