Unusual Magic Morning Schedule

Hi!

For some reason, Magic Morning is being held at Disneyland on Friday, April 28th, which I know is outside the norm. It's causing me to worry that there is some kind of event going on that day that will cause the park to be unbearably busy. I can't imagine that the 28th would be considered "spring break" considering Easter is mid-April this year. We were under the impression that late April would be a good time to go. Do you have any idea why they might do a MM on a Friday?

I believe that is the Matterhorn reopening date.

Another possibility is an early closure due to a private event.

When we went two years ago they were getting ready for the 60th and closed each park around 6PM once that week (different days, one was always open later). They compensated by opening the parks earlier than originally planned. It was crazy because the park hours kept changing for that week and people on the boards were panicking. On the day Disneyland closed early they had MM at 7AM, regular park opening at 8AM, and DCA didn't open until 9AM.
