I know there was a thread about this a while back, but I looked through the posts from the past year and couldn't find it, so sorry if I missed it!

I'm trying to put together a list of some out of the ordinary pages I could do for my upcoming Disney trip. I've done all the usual stuff, and am looking to try something new- things like how the pavement changes in different lands of MK, a page showcasing the pool bars at the different resorts, a page of the different modes of transportation, etc.

Any suggestions? :wizard:

I have a fun page of all the odd signs I've spotted in and around Disney. Of course, the No Bad Dancing sign on a lot of the rides (keep hands and feet inside at all times), as well as some of the universally (mis)understood symbols. There's a rock in AK that says beware of buffalo. Um...there are no buffalo in AK... Silliness like that.

Trashcans and the bathroom entrances are my thing. Because they change with the different lands.

Heh, I have a picture of the "Beware of Buffalo!" sign, too! Very weird sign!

I like the trash can idea!

I am not the only one who takes pictures of trashcans!!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

Now the bathrooms, haven't looked at them in great detail.... oh November trip watch out..... (of course this would be easier to do if I wasn't in charge of all the kids using the restroom while DH just gets to lollygag LOL

I don't have anything unusual in my pags yet but I love the idea. Keep up the ideas everyone.

The lights change along with the pavement from land to land and within adventureland they also change from the jungles to the Carribean.

I don't remember if WDW's MK has as much variation, but at DL... but there the ones by Pinocchio have male and female marionettes on the sign, the ones in Toontown are Roger Rabbit characters, it used to be prince/princess by the Matterhorn but now the bathrooms are themed to Alice in Wonderland and so its King/Queen, Country Bears downstairs at the Hungry Bear.

Also in DL, the popcorn carts all have different little guys turning a spool of kernals. There is an abominable snowman, Rocketeer, Barbershop Quartet guy, and one or two others I am not remembering.

I have a page with different cast members, waiters, balloon sales, guest relations, Photo takers they all like getting their Pic taken. Have fun scrapin:)

I did a page of Disney at night. We take pics of food :confused3
I have done pages of nothing but dessert. I love the trash can and sign ideas. My DH will think I'm crazy when I give him those ideas for our upcoming trip. I want to do a hidden Mickey layout and a layout on fountains.

I take pictures of light fixtures and close-ups of architechural details.

I did the sign from the Pop Century Restaurant that says 'Maximum Capacity 801 '.

I am about to work on the layout showing our pedometers from each day. We did like 11 miles at Epcot.

I also take pictures of architecural details. I am really into the Imagineers Field Guides so I took alot of pictures this last trip of designs/hidden images/subtle details to do my own Imagineering Field guide type of scrapbook.

These are some great tips for different layout ideas. I'm also trying to get some newer ideas for our trip in Dec.

Among the ones I have been thinking about:
Top 5 rides per park, dining experiences, the various lands and specialties at EPCOT, for my DH showcasing his various beers that he'll try in EPCOT.
This trip we are also keeping a journal of the days activities and thoughts and I want to incorporate that into the scrapbook.
Since we are going over the Holidays and also with my in-laws, I'll have some very interesting pages to complete this year.

Just talking about it is giving me the need for a little scrapbook time. :artist:

I take pictures of the trashcans too! :)

I have to say that it was quite thrilling to take pics of all the trashcans when I went to Disneyland Paris in April. They're quite a bit different from the Disneyland ones (the most obvious difference being the spot to discard cigarettes in the DLP ones).
