Unused Parkhopper Passes question?

We have taken family trips in the past and have a few parkhopper tickets with unused days left on them.

Some of these tickets were purchased by myself and some by other family members. We always just handed out a ticket to everyone and never kept track of who was using what ticket.

None have ever been used with finger scans attached to them.

How will this be handled when we try to use the leftover days on our next trip?

Do you attach finger scans to tickets at the turnstyles or somewhere else?

What if the name of the purchaser is not the same as the name of the person wanting to use the tickets now? Will it be a problem?

You may want to have the tickets scanned at Guest Relations (one booth is outside each park). Thiw way you may find out some have more days or plusses than other tickets and then decide which ticket to give to which family member.

If the tickets are not long enough for the entire vacation and you are there for more than 3 days, you should set aside the old tickets and buy new tickets to span the entire vacation. But one person could use several old tickets while everyone else gets new tickets, if you are not going to Disney Quest which old tickets do not include. (Or if the old tickets are not hopper plus and you are not going to water parks)

Supposedly there are a few tickets out there purchased as a group with the name of the credit card holder on all of them. I would expect that any family member can be the next person to use them and the only person to use all of the remaining content.

Before you go through the turnstiles, put your name on the back of your ticket (all tickets should be signed). Once you go through the turnstiles and do the biometrics, that ticket becomes yours for the life of the ticket. Tickets have technically always been non transferrable, just like Annual passes, however now they have a way to ensure it.

We put the names on our tickets with a sharpie. You can also have your tickets checked for the number of days at the Disney Resorts, Swan/Dolphin, or Downtown Disney.

I am pretty sure exactly how many days are left on the tickets so that is not an issue.

We have no problem with each person "owning" their own ticket from now on.
