Unused 1 day MK ticket on MB - question

Let me start by saying that I have not been into the theme parks since FP+ and Magic Bands, and I am totally confused when I read some of the threads regarding them.

DD (22) and I went to WDW last year for the PHM. We each had magic band for our AKV and BLT stays (2 nights each). At BLT, I bought us each a 1 day MK ticket that was put directly onto the Magic Band - no hard ticket received. We never used them and I currently have both bands.

DH and I are planning a short trip, possibly for next January. We have 2 2-day park hoppers that will expire (got them at a fundraiser).

I was wondering:
#1 - can he use DD's magic band one of our days to use the 1 day MK ticket, since she only used the magic band for opening our resort doors (though it may be connected to her MDE we had prior to the PHM trip, though we never had FP+ or anything associated with the ticket)?
#2 - Should I add the 2 day park hopper to my Magic Band with the 1 day MK ticket, or should I use it on another Magic band that I have (I think I have received one or 2 that have my name since we had reservations for 2 resorts last year, but were never used) or wait to get one after I make the DVC reservation?
#3 - Should we add the 2 day park hopper to the magic band we'll receive after making the reservation?

Any other advice on the magic bands and the FP+s we can make for our next trip would be appreciated and I hope I understand

Your all screwed up with magic bands. The bands have zero info on them. They all link back to your online account. You can add any amount of tickets to your online profile. And all of the bands with your name are interchangeable (wear a different one each day of you like), so no your husband cannot use your daughters band, however he can use that ticket. Log on the MDE and look under friends and family. There should be a one day ticket assigned to your daughter, just move it to your husband.

Nothing is ON any magic bad, it is simply connected to My Disney Experience and accessed via any MB that is associated with you on MDE. you will get new magic bands for this trip, and you can use any other magic band that is assigned to you. Yes you DH can use the one day MK ticket on your daughter's MB but you will have to list her on the reservation to be able to make FP+ for him 60 days out. Yes you should add you 2 day tickets to MDE so that you can make for+ reservations at 60 days out.

@Raenstoirm beat me to it... I forgot about being able to resign tickets, that would be the best way for your DH to use the 1 day MK ticket.

He doesn't need his own account, you can create a managed account for him under your account rather than have him sign up for his own.

I just checked my account and her ticket is non-transferable; only mine can be reassigned.

My guess is that she "owns" the ticket. She has to allow it to be reassigned. Does she have her own MDE? Permissions might not be set up right.

You go to guest relations outside a park and have them prioritize the park hopper ticket over the 1 day MK ticket so that the hopper ticket is used first. I would also check your MDE account after you get through the tapstyles and before the end of the day to make sure the correct ticket was used in case there was an error somewhere. If there was to to guest relations inside the park and they should be able to help you.

Thanks! That sounds like a slight hassle. I guess I can use Guest Relations at our resort when we check in.
