Ok I need to get busy. I'm procrastinating getting reading for our garage sale this weekend. Dh came home this afternoon and said "exactly what are you planning on selling." Ummm I think I better get putting stuff out.

I'll talk to you all later tonight.

okay... bye Shawna! I need to get busy doing stuff too. Alex is trying to do his reading, and Mikalah is banging together Legos in his face!:lmao:

I had to take Morgan to dance.

Ok, Alex, remember I can pick you up if you like. I could drive over and park to get my jamba juice, grab you and come back! It would really be no problem at all. I'l show your dh my drivers license. :rotfl:
That's a very sweet offer, Shawna, and I may take you up on that. If you're going to Jamba Juice anyway (in DTD?) maybe I can just meet you there?

I dont know if anyone is hitting the park on Monday.. I know that am leaving to go to the airport at 8:30, so I am definitely not. Im sure we will run into each other! I know that we ran into Dizzy a few times, and the others have run into each other.

We like to take a day on longer trips and just have some down time. Really browse DTD. My family loves to hang out in the Lego store.. Dh and the kids could spend a ton of time there! Then playing with their new toys in the room... Playing in the pool, they LOVE that! The World of Disney store, and BAB are both a lot of fun too. So you could totally find a ton of things to do and NOT hit the park. It would also be a good day to do a character meal, GK or some such thing.
Oh, they could totally do the LEGO store (well, maybe not DS3) and definitely the pool, but DH hates to shop, especially with two grabby little boys. :rotfl:

So I will leave it up to him.

Leave them at the Lego store, and hit the fun stores by yourself!!;) :lmao: :lmao: Thats what I do.. I HATE that store. Mikalah and the boys love it. The kids get to play.... dh gets to shop to his little heats content. I can LEAVE. :lmao: :lmao:

there is a pharmacy tech class opening in Riverside next week and it is for 6 months...the cost is about $2500 and my aunt has offered to pay it for Tiffany if she wants to come down there and take the class and she will be able to stay there and not have to worry about anything but school but im really afraid...this is such a great opportunity and Im just scared tiff wont accept the offer...I know you are all thinking what a brat...she gets this offer and might not want to take it???? and you would be right but I have to let her do what she wants or else she is going to be miserable and I dont want her to have a "job" just to support herself...I want her to be happy in the decisions she makes and go to work every day and enjoy it you kwim?

Lynn, I totally agree. If it's not what she wants to do, what's the point? She's young, she's still figuring it all out.

My dad is a contracting engineer and had his own business. He wanted me to study electrical engineering in college so that I could join the business, but I just thought, "OMG, that would be sooooo boring..." So instead I studied psychology and political science. And you know what you can do after graduation with that? NOTHING! :lmao:

Oh wow. That is a great opportunity. Well... You could tell her that she doesnt have to do the job FOREVER. But it would be a really good jumping off place. KWIM? She could go to school, get a decent paying job and if she DOESNT like it, she would at least be making enough money to go to school for something else. Does that make sense?

both my mom and I had "jobs" for survival only...I dont want my dd having to do that....and as long as I can help her to be able to take that time and enjoy being young (which I couldnt do already having a bb by the time I was her age) I am going to do so...theres actually 3 different programs being offered....1 is the pharmacy tech...2 is a medical something or other and 3 is an orthopedic clinical assistant and they all start at the same time...so she can pick from one of the 3...she has indicated she wants to do something in the medical field so:confused3

I don't know if these programs are also offered, but I've heard of great opportunities in phlebotomy and also radiology. I think those pay pretty well. :thumbsup2

If she has an idea what field she'd like to go into, one of those might be a good stepping stone to getting into that field, too. She might need more education later on, but with this she'd have job experience as well as some education going into that. Could be awesome if it's something she wants! :thumbsup2

well she did want to get into radiology but according to everything we see you pretty much have to have a degree in like allied health or something which is basically being a nurse.....ok guys she is home and i need her to call my aunt so she cant see this...

Oh, I forgot to mention, Jeff Renner said snow was coming last night. I didn't stay up to see when and where, though.

It says that it is 43 degrees here, what is it doing SNOWING????
