Honestly, it didn't work for us, either, but I'm willing to try again. He loves to wear it, but we didn't do a trial run until DL. Once he had it on, he took off like a shot! Until he hit the end of the leash, whereupon he stayed, legs still pumping and arms flailing around like a dang helicopter! :rotfl2:

When he realized this was how it worked, he got  , and so Daddy put him on his shoulders. However, Daddy won't be along, I can't carry him like that (at least not very far), so he's going to either have to be in the stroller or we use the backpack. And if he throws a fit, he goes back in the stroller. Mean Mama!

:lmao: Hopefully he will be a different kiddo for you though. I know anytime mine are separate (or with just one parent) they act totally different (in a better way) :goodvibes

And I'm sure folks have been telling you, that this year has been colder and wetter than usual. Did you bring some of it with you??? :rotfl:

 hmmm, I dunno.. it's been dry in MN too.. until this winter anyway. :rotfl: Last December there was NO snow at all, very mild temps in the 30-40's. We got dumped on later and then that was it , POOF winter was gone.

I've been toying with the idea of having Justin's friend come for a visit.. unfortuantely his spring break is a week before ours.. booo! I thought of having my sister's oldest come.. but not sure if she would be comfortbale putting him on a plane by himself.

Then I thought hey I want to see my sis.. but ummmm I don't have any winter gear now

No!! It's called a smart Mama!! And if that doesn't work just start going back to your hotel for a nap!!! :rolleyes1
Good thinkin'! That would probably straighten him right up! Either that, or he is in dire need of a nap, in which case we'll do just that. :thumbsup2

Yep, the boys are much easier separately. Yesterday they were playing together nicely in the backyard, throwing a ball around to each other. Both DH and I commented on how strange yet how nice it was! :lmao:

I think DS7 is maturing and not so reactive to his little "bother", and DS3 is maturing and becoming more of a playmate. It's nice to see. :goodvibes

::yes::

He might really enjoy having mama to himself -- he may suprise you and be on his best behavior so he can stay and play in the park all day :goodvibes

i have decided to dis instead of do housework today (well hold off till my kids get home) How is everyone today?

Wow is it REALLY cold here today...68, but don't worry it will get warmer as the week progresses!!!!

(hehehehehee)

Ok - they are now calling for heavy snow, evidentally we have only been getting light snow so far :confused3 Everything outside is white, the power lines, the satellite (will have to fix that soon), the propane tank (ok, you get the picture), and it could keep snowing all night :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

:woohoo: :woohoo: I had chicken noodle soup for lunch, this time it actually had CHICKEN in the can. :yay:

Sad isn't it, I had to actually check for meat.. the last can I opened had not a single scrap of meat! I'm thinking of becoming vegetarian.. but if the can says Chicken noodle soup.. I expect to get what I paid for :headache:

mmm, I need to go back to Winco and stock up on the yummy organic soups again. I've been so frustrated with Alberton's and Ralph's limited product lines. I would think they would carry more organics and natural brands.. but they don't.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Welcome to winter.. you still have sunglasses handy right?? I swear I needed sunglasses more in winter than I ever did in the summertime.

Have they declared it a blizzard yet?? Or is the wind not strong enough?

I am good...just eagerly awaiting the final installment of someone's TR :rolleyes1

Only 30 degrees here - not too bad, but if I go outside I might get lost in the snow!!!

I actually never had sunglasses :confused3

I don't think the winds are that strong...the snow is pretty much just falling straight down, but there are times that falkes are gniat enough that I can't see anything but white!!! :rotfl: (that took some work to type)

I doubt it, he has me to himself most days. ;)

Still, he certainly is revved to go to DL!!!

Salt lake

You definitely understand cold and snow then!!! I have a bunch of relatives that live in Salt Lake (well, an aunt/uncle and their kids, and now their families). I haven't visited them since I was a kid though (and sadly that was a long, long time ago) :rotfl: The rest live in Riverton, but it has been so long I don't even remember how far that is away from Salt Lake :confused3 :lmao: (sorry, it has been a long day :rotfl: )

I'm sure it had chicken broth and noodles in it. GEESH, some people are so demanding!!! :rotfl2:

Spongie, who is Edward Cullen, and why is he sportin' fangs???

Oh, that reminds me. DH and DS7 had a basketball game last Sat., and they came home with the team photos we'd ordered at the beginning of the season. Cute shot of DS7 alone with the basketball, then the team photo with both (DH is assistant coach) and the rest of the team. DS7 has my very pale skin, unfortunately, and the poor boy glowed so white in the team photo it looked like he had a spotlight on him! :lmao:
