Yeah jobs suck!! We just really need one that pays retirement and the county and state here are awesome for that. 20 years and he'll be out with some nice money and not having to depend at all on social security to be there for us!

Allison, my FIL went through radiation and although it knocked him down a few days he agreed it was a million times better than the chemo. The only thing he has trouble with a few years later is he is still sensitive to cold. He's fully recovered stage 4 colon cancer and is doing well. I'm sure you will have the same success. We're pulling for you!

Well I can assure you I'm not sensitive to cold. The chemo caused menopause so I have hot flashes about 50 times a day! Now I know what my grandmother was complaining about. I'm stage 2 and overall I have about an 85-90% 5 year survival rate. Of course I'd prefer 100%, but I'll take what I can get at this point. That's great that your FIL is doing so well. It's amazing how good they are getting with the cancer treatments.

Ummm, we have University of Phoenix here too! That college definitely "gets around"!! So I don't think it's the clear cut sign you are looking for!!

I do like Orbit gum too! In fact I carry the crystal mint flavor in my purse! I converted to orbit gum after I got sick of the altoids gum.

Awe I forgot about my half eaten bananananana and now it's all brown.

I know they have come a LONG way. We were really scared when they told us stage 4 because we thought that meant death was inevitable. 3 years later nothing as come back. We know he is not out of the clear by any means but it sure looks good!

hmmmmm, hubby believes in "signs".
We went to a thrift store a few weeks before we talked about maybe moving.
He bought a grab bag of coins.. didn't notice until he got home one was a poker chip for Lucky Horseshoe Casino.
