uh seeing a 27 yo dancing to kid songs and not having kids yourself??? i would look at you crazy too :rotfl:
Whew! Good thing I had DS3 with me when I was dancing around in the Disney Store! (Though he was the one telling me, "STYOPPIT, MAMA!") :rolleyes1
which basically means in the 80's...whatever the weather says you need to up it about 10º
Seriously? Yoiks! Upper 80s would be a tad too warm for us, especially tromping around the parks. (Love it when we can just lay on a beach or soak in a pool!)

:scratchin i will take serious consideration into allowing that...however, I feel that one has to earn the right to be allowed to enter my secret domain so Alex, I would like a 500 word essay as to why I should let you see the secret bathroom....
MAN! You are one tough lady! Getting to work now...

yeah I totally agree with Staley....dont check it...carry it on:thumbsup2
Do I have to keep it in the original containers, or can I mix up the Trail Mix into ziploc baggies? Guess I ought to re-read the TSA site, I'm sure some stuff has changed since last year.

OH! And I was going to submit our info online to TSA so we wouldn't have an incident like last year (with DS3 being on the "No Fly" list.) :sad2:

With food you should be fine doing whatever you want with it. I have taken food in ziplock bags before.

Im serious about the temps....its gotten warm again over here....

haha im just kidding alex you know you can see the bathroom...I just have to advise my security personnel to grant you access without arresting you for tresspassing:rotfl: funny thing happened in June...I think staley was with me...i went to take her to see the bathroom and some man was sitting outside waiting for his mom to come out of the bathroom and I flat out told him I dont remember allowing her access to the bathroom:lmao: he looked at me like I had lost my mind...

Im pretty sure they dont require you to keep it in the original container because now that theyve stopped serving free food people bring food onboard all the time....so I wouldnt worry about it

 Oh no!!! How do they take care of that? There isnt a cure, is there? Argh.... What do you do now????? Come on Lynn... How do we fix it? Are you taking Iron now?

yes I am taking iron...and no there is no cure...If I have it I will die....not trying to be dumb here but thats what happens...I have a 95% chance of living over 5 yrs and 70% up to 20 yrs...however, being that my kidneys arent good because of my diabetes, the attack will speed up on them at least...:sad1:

 Oh dear... but at least the 70% is promising. What did your doctor say? What do they want you to start doing, treatment wise?

I am severely anemic and the doctor thinks I may have lupus...I dont know how much you know about it but it is a disease where your own body attacks your immune system and internal organs...
An ex-boss' ex-wife has that. I'm not sure what all it entails, I think there are various problems/limitations it can cause, and I think the symptoms can come and go. Is that right, Lynn?

I'm so sorry if you do have that, I know it is a big deal. :guilty:

I will know more next week...I have an appt on the 5th so we will see...in the meantime I am going to take the iron pills and see if that doesnt help me with being anemic...

You know, DH and I were just talking about that. Last time we just picked up some breakfast at the Starbucks in the airport. Got choc milk for the kids and a gigantic cinnamon roll. DS3 was all sugared up and acting like a maniac, and then when it was time to board the plane, he urped all over his shirt and shoulder strap of the stroller. Fortunately we were able to clean him and the stroller up quickly, but I'd really rather not repeat that. I'd like to bring some dry cereal or something that he more typically eats to lessen our chances of spewage. :sad2:

So yeah, if we can bring stuff onto the plane, and dont' have to worry about 'original containers', I think I can think of some things to bring for the kids.

Mikalah is still napping!:woohoo: When they went to lay down, dh was chillin on the puter, and Mikalah was fussing at him. "Do you want to go to bed??" She looked at him, and yelled back "YES!!!!" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: No wonder she was fussing at him! So he picked her up to take her to bed... I poo-poo.. Sure did!:lmao: She is soo funny.:lmao:

Lynn, my sister went through a (medically) rough time a few years ago. She has a form of vasculitis (where the immune system attacks healthy cells of the body), and the treatment involves chemo and steroids and lots of other meds. Fortunately for her they caught it early, the form she has isn't usually caught until it reaches the internal organs and by then it's too late to do anything.

Anyway, so she developed diabetes (and gained a lot of weight) because of the Prednisone, but I think she's finally off the Prednisone, done with chemo, just has to take a boatload of pills. I don't think they ever consider her free of the disease, she will always have to take certain meds, you just sort of hope it doesn't get any worse.

When she first got it I researched on the internet, then freaked out because the life expectancy was very low! But of course since they don't normally catch it until too late, it would be. But she's doing well under the circumstances, and while I still don't know what her life expectancy is, she's holding her own, and I think more appreciative of life in general, ya know?
