I reposted it a few days ago, Alex2K got a good laugh out of it... something along the lines of "how could I forget that Melody asked so nicely if Shawna was Albino?"

yeah, same thing happened to me over the summer... and spring break. I was really really stressed out with classes and work...

didnt bother to check since you guys most like mad... just didnt bother reading them for awhile... :|

ahhh, but we miss you when you're gone.. yeah, we are quite prolific with our posts on some days.

Oh I think I get it. There was a period when you could hardly get a word in "edge wise." I was the slowest poster of the west!!!!!!! Still am.

i found out this morning i didnt get paid for Sunday's shift... :| its a good thing it was part of NEXT weeks paycheck or else id be short a days worth of paycheck... :|

That's crappy about the pay, hopefully they will untangle the cruddy mess they created and fix it.

I worked at a day care that was owned/run by a family. Had to keep a close watch on time cards and pay checks, her husband did the payroll and many times screwed up my check- shorting me money, or forgetting to SIGN the check so I couldn't cash it

They forgot to take union dues out of hubby's last check, so double out on the next one.. ehhhh... expensive to be in union.

haha, that isnt that bad... i worked for this one guy for 2 month... didnt pay me a dime until i threaten to sue him...

That's terrible!
Can you imagine a family living off that one paycheck and not being able to make rent?!!

In some ways it was nice to work for a small center.. but it also sucked when it came to having enough supplies, running very lean on staff (just enough to meet state rules, the minute we dropped kids down they sent me home-- some days I worked only 3 hours, other times worked TOO many hours as she didn't want to hire more staff.) and everyone knew everyone else's business. If you were not liked, you knew it! (The coworkers liked me, but only at arms length... they were all so young!).

Okay, Im ba-ack!! I was just chatting with my sister for a bit. My mom had e-mailed me about getting all our info for our Christmas trip, and she wanted to know how much my sisters room and tickets were going to cost. So it made me wonder if she was going to pick up the tab for her room... I hope so!!

Hey Bernice... She said that there is only one Petsmart in Riverside.. It is right in the cusp of Moreno Valley, and Riverside. The other store is technically in Corona... I think thats the town she said.. I am soo excited to see her again!!

There was talk at one time of dh's job going union. We were all . At the time they hadnt gotten raises in about 4 years. But it didnt happen. But thats okay.. His boss always told him that when he could, he would hook dh up with some good raises, and he did within the past year or so. Finally!! It was nice to be able to buy a car that didnt break down on us all the time!
