I know right! I could get him a wallet, and give him the money to get his own blinkin computer!

Bf asks: Is he only using the laptop for gaming? If he is going to use the laptop for lots of game playing 4 GB is fine, if he's just going to use it for internet use than 2GB is fine. My bf's laptop is only 1GB and he can play Need for Speed Most Wanted. It depends on what his preference is.

He will want to be able to play online... MMORPG. That would be the thing he would need the most RAM for i would think.

I know, I made the mistake of saying there was no rush, since I can use it (like now) plugged into the wall. But the cord runs across the floor, and the kids trip over it sometimes.

Plus, he wanted to use it the other day away from the outlet, and it died after like 15 minutes! So we definitely need one. I'd love to be able to take it in the backyard while the boys play.

I used to paly Quake 2 and Diablo II online. That was awesome until Blizzard deleted my character!! I forgot that they delete it after a certain # of days if you don't play it often. Whoops! I haven't played the games where you have to pay for the service each month. World of Warcraft and LOTR looks fun.

My brother spent soooooo many hours playing Final Fantasy 1-2 years ago. My dad was pissed when he saw the bill and made my brother pay up. Then my brother sold his characters on ebay and actually made a lot of money.

He tried to sell more characters recently but ebay prohibits it now (due to scam incidents where people would sell their characters and then once they got the money they would change the password or delete the character)

The battery that came with my laptop only lasts 2 1/2 hrs. My replacement battery lasts 5 hrs. If I'm just at home and online then I'll use the 2 hr one but for trips the 5 hr one is great!
