The later you wait, the better the computer gets and the cheaper it is...

ex. i bought my laptop at 40% from Dell... but now, its crappy

Staley- your DH might like this website: www.woot.com They sell random stuff and it goes fast because of their prices! I got Logitech wireless headphones. It connects by bluetooth and comes with a charger that you plug in. It's pretty cool and I got it for $20. My bf bought one too.

Mikalah wont give him kisses because it gives her "owies!!" But I like it when he has it.. Other wise i feel like Im kissing a chick! But then hes almost always had it.. When he walked out of the bathroom this morning.. Grrr.. I was mad! But it will grow back.. in about a week or so.

Good Morning Hyenas! Got up at 4AM, left for the airport at 4:30, dropped her off at 5am, got to work at 5:20am. Geesh! Starbucks wasn't even open yet! Good thing I made coffee at home.

Staley - go for a Dell computer. We have 7 of them in our office and 1 laptop. They are now 5 years old and we've had absolutely no problems, except for a monitor that went out one about 2 weeks ago. I have been very pleased with their performance, we've had many types of computers over the past 18 years and I would have to say they have been the best!

FunnyG - said a prayer for your DH, hope things went well last night and that he does ok at school today.

My sister was here to pick up my nephew, he is 17 now and suffers from autism and mental retardation. He is such a sweetie, but it really makes you realize how lucky we all are to have children without severe problems like his. Last night my sister had to shave his face while he was bathing. Even simple things like that are beyond his grasp. DH had gotten a Looney Toons DVD set for Christmas and he found it. He loves watching the old cartoons, so we gave it to him. He will be in 7th heaven watching it on his plane trip today! He wouldn't let my sister pack it in the luggage and he slept with it last night. They will be back in 2 weeks. Didn't get to visit with my sister much this time, but will have more time when she comes back.

Everytime I see someone or a child with some kind of physical or mental problem, I always thank God for the blessing of children with out these handicaps. Then I say a prayer for them, and whoever is with them. They need a special portion of love and patience. I bet your sister is a very special person, and I bet you get such a joy to give things to your nephew! Look at how mcuh he loved those DVD's.

Today is my 30th anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure yet what is happening tonight, but today I get to have a cat scan. Yipee Skipee! I get to drink down 2 containers of berry smoothie barium junk. I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about Alison!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Sorry you have to drink some icky stuff today. Actually I don't think I've ever had to drink anything before my scans. My bone scan they injected some nuclear stuff into me (just what a person with cancer needs!), then I had to wait 2 hours and have the scan. My breast MRI they put an IV on me and injected me with some "stuff" to make areas with lots of bloodflow glow! Probably more nuclear stuff. My brain MRI didn't need anything special. I don't think there is anything on me at this point that hasn't been scanned!

On my brain MRI they discovered that I have an incomplete Circle of Wilis. About 10% of the population has that, it's an irregular path that the blood vessels in your brain take. The only time it ever presents a problem is if you have a stroke, then it might not be able to get blood flow to certain areas of my brain. See you knew there had to be something wrong with me upstairs also!!

It is just an absolute icky, horrible day here (weather wise). It looks like October outside instead of August. I really feel cheated out of a summer this year. July & August are supposed to be our months when you can count on good weather, but not this year. It seems like we get 1 or 2 nice days, then a week of rain & clouds. Apparently the Global Warming forgot the Northwest! I'm seriously about to put all of my summer clothes away and dig out the winter stuff.

Oh & have I mentioned that I forgot to watch the news last night so I had no idea what the weather would be like. The local morning news doesn't start until 4:30 and I was on the road then. So today I am dressed in a short sleeve shirt, capris & sandals. I would like to add that I am freezing my little patutey off! Hot flashes should not be a problem today!
