Untimely question about MNSSHP

Yes, I realize that October is 9 months away (actually I guess it's 8 now). But I'm working on a few different touring plans for our next trip, and here's my question:

Let's say we get the non-hopper option on our MYW passes, and go to, say MGM on a Thursday morning and stay most of the day. Then, around 4:00 we head to MK for the MNSSHP. We just have to have our MNSSHP tickets, right? We don't burn another day from our MYW passes? Am I thinking clearly on this? Help!

Yes, your MNSSHP tickets will get you in from 4 p.m. And actually you could not use a non-hopper ticket to get into MK anyway if you've already been to a park that day.
