Unstable app?

My family just got back from an awesome 8 day stay. I was wondering, however, if any other folks experienced the WDW app being slow and unstable while in the parks? It very well could be my old phone. The app works ok everywhere else, but in the parks it was very slow to load, go to other screens, etc. Also, most of my Fast Passes didn’t show up until I logged out and then logged back in. It would maybe show 1 FP+ out of 3. Just curious if that’s just my old phone, or have other folks had a similar experience?

Sadly, almost everyone has some issues with the app, especially in the parks.

Last time we were in the park there was a system wide issue and people were unable to log in (both app and website), including me with my old Android phone and my daughter with her newer model iphone. It was a hot mess. Unfortunately that sort of thing isn't uncommon.

We also experienced problems on our last trip. Unfortunately this seems to be the norm. I see more & more posts about it.
