Unopened Baby Formula - Similac

Hi.

Can anyone please let me know if you are able to return unopened baby formula to a store for a credit without receipt or
would that be up to an individual store.

I highly doubt it, but given shortages you may want to consider donating it (or selling it at cost if money is a consideration). There is probably someone out there that would be extremely grateful for it.

I doubt most stores will let you return something without a receipt regardless of what it is. Too many people would try to 'game' the system buying at a sale price (perhaps at some other unrelated store) and then later trying to return it for the regular price, pocketing the difference. Could also be a way someone tries to profit from stolen merchandise. I would assume that is why stores have various rules about what can be returned.

Without a receipt, stores typically give a store credit at the current price if they'll take back the item at all.

I know Target let my sister return formula for a store credit when she bought the wrong kind.

Walmart will let you return it with no receipt, as long as you have your ID. They will issue you a store gift card
