I am really wondering if bookings are way down, it seems like all I have seen since yesterday are Disney Commercials advertising the 30% off for late February and March ending soon.

I would like to think that may be the case, but I guess we'll know more once the real hours get updated in the next few weeks.

Ok so I am totally new to this section of the Disboards but I am LOVING all the information here!!! Thanks for putting it all together. I literally JUST got the "go" for a trip in March!!! We start planning and booking things tomorrow (i know 55 days, starting a little late) I can not wait!!! I will be headed down on my college's spring break (the 5th-9th) with my fiancee as a last minute engagement trip (we got engaged on the very last day of our august trip). The plan is to stay at the All Star Movies with the quick service dinning plan. I have never been to disney without my family so it will be a totally different experience. I can not wait to see what it has in store for us!!!

We are from Chicago and so far the winter has been pretty tame but here is the most current weather warning for this coming Thursday:
Special Weather Statement:

Accumulating snowfall expected on Thursday. An arctic front will push through the region Wednesday night and bring an abrupt end to the mild and dry weather. Precipitation will start Wed night across northwest and north central Illinois and spread east overnight. Starting as rain before transitioning over to all snow by Thursday morning. Temperatures will be falling through the 20's along with increasing winds occasionall moderate to heavy snow. Up to 5inches may accumulate. Overnight lows plummeting to between 10 and 15 degrees and winds gusts to 30mph will result in wind chills values of 0 to 5 below.

So why is it that I can't wait to get to WDW in March and so enjoy coming to the Dis to get my daily fixes!!

It seems only to be for March 1st due to the 24 hours MK will be open the day previous (2/29) You should be good

The massive snow storm we got last January 11-12 I was due to fly to Orlando on the 11th so I spent 7 hrs total on the phone with united who messed us up royally. Ended up buying seats on air tran last minute for the 10th at 7 pm-ish flight got delayed, pilot was stuck in jersey. A new captain got called in we all stood and cheered literally. Flight left the terminal around 11 took 2 hours to wait to be deiced. They held our layover in Baltimore which took more deicing time. We landed in Orlando at 3:30 am. Bahhhh I can't go through that stress again. I remember running out to the store a few hours before my flight to buy tiny shampoos and stuff. Packing was so stressful I took a carry on didn't want to pay for a bag. I'm hoping this winter is mellow because the last was so horrible. It snowed literally every Wednesday at least 6 inches of snow for 8 weeks. Please please please God, let me get to Disney without a hitch this time.

That sounds horrible. I am terrified of flying if the weather is bad in fact I did go once to Disney end of January all was fine until the trip back as we are coming into Hartford the pilot has to announce the temp and say that a light snow if falling in Hartford, I saw the snow on the runway as we landed and I just knew we were going to skid off the runway We were fine not so much my nerves. I did buy trip ins first time ever just going to keep my fingers crossed all goes well for our trip.

TGIF and we are all one day closer to our trips

If anyone is staying at the Poly or contemplating a switch to the Poly the dates of the work to be done on the pool has changed as might effect those staying in early March

The Nanea Volcano pool will have some work done to the rockwork and slide, originally scheduled for January 9 to February 21, last word is that it will not start until January 16 or 17th and no date of completion was given.

Hope everyone has a good weekend rainy cold and possible snow showers here in Connecticut.

Hi fellow March travellers!

I'm late to the game, but so excited for my upcoming trip! CBR March 4-8 with DD and my Mom! A girl's Princess trip.

My daughter (3 1/2) had her first Disney experience this past November and EVERY DAY she asks when we're going back to see her "friends" Cinderella and Tinker Bell. I wanted my mom to experience this age and took advantage of not being tied to school vacation times and booked!!! Plus getting away from NY in March will be very nice.

We have ADR's at 1900 PF, Akerhus and CRT!!! Talk about Princessing it up! Just lucky/happy I was able to get into all of them. Times are "off" but that's fine by me.
